You have options when it comes to having junk and unwanted stuff removed from your home, business, or any place on or around your property, but which one best fits your needs?
You could bag up all your junk and wait for your local waste department to pick it up, but that's a lot of work, plus waste departments often have specific regulations about what they'll pick up and when you're allowed to leave it.
You could rent a dumpster and let some company drop it off on your property for as long as you need it. Of course, if you're doing a major project at home, you could be stuck with this eyesore on your property for days, potentially even weeks.
But what if you told you there was a third option, in which you could have any type of junk removed from your home or business in a single visit, with no work on your part beyond a simple phone call? With 1-800-GOT-JUNK? you'll get full-service junk removal, whenever you need it, with no strings attached.
In the past, a dumpster rental has been somewhat of a "necessary evil". You don't want to have a big, ugly dumpster sitting in your front yard or rendering your driveway unusable for the time it takes to take care of your junk, but what other options do you have? That's where we come in.
1-800-GOT-JUNK? wants to be the savior for our customers in the Inland Empire. Whether you're completing a project large or small around your home or office, we can take care of all your junk in a single visit. Here's how it works:
Step 1: When you have junk, we have solutions, and the best part is that to say goodbye to your junk problem, all you have to do is call us and schedule a time for us to take your junk away.
Step 2: When our uniformed junk haulers show up on your property with our shiny, branded trucks, just show us what we're up against. We'll go into any room in your home, area of your property, or space in your office and haul out anything you need removed.
Step 3: When we're done, you only pay for the space your junk takes up in our trucks, so feel free to use again whenever you need expert junk removal in the Inland Empire!
Just the fact that we'll actually come out and do the necessary work without leaving an unsightly dumpster on your property should be enough proof that the junk removal team at 1-800-GOT-JUNK? can provide service that's far preferable to a dumpster rental. If that's not enough, here are a few more reasons to use us:
We recycled before it was cool. Unlike some other companies, we don't just throw everything in a landfill and forget about it. We go the extra mile to ensure that anything that we take from your property that can be donated or recycled is processed in the proper fashion.
Our prices make sense: With some other waste management companies, you're likely to see a pricing structure that's needlessly confusing. There's a flat fee, plus a service charge, plus additional charges for the amount of junk. With us, it's simple. You only pay for the space your junk takes up in our trucks, with no catch, and no hidden fees.
Whether you're completing a construction project, an office cleanout, or just some spring cleaning at your house, you need a partner to help you get rid of junk. The team at 1-800-GOT-JUNK? can dispose of almost anything, as long as it's not hazardous and can be handled by a team of able-bodied junk movers. We're happy to help!
For a free consultation, call 1-800-GOT-JUNK? in the Inland Empire today. Before you know it, you'll be able to say "goodbye junk. Hello relief."
Hi, I'm Darren Tavitian, the local owner and operator for the 1-800-GOT-JUNK? San Diego NE franchise servicing Escondido, San Marcos, Vista and Valley Center. I started working at 1-800-GOT-JUNK? in 2004 for the Greater Los Angeles franchise which serves most of the South Bay area.I started this career assuming it would be temporary, but instead worked my way up to General Manager of one of the Top 20 franchises, and in May 2007 bought the San Diego NE franchise.
The 1-800-GOT-JUNK? mantra we operate by is "It's all about the people," and that's exactly how we operate our business. At 1-800-GOT-JUNK? we treat every customer as if they are our only customer and ensure we meet all their junk removal needs. We thrive on challenges, like the 21-truckload job we completed in a single day. We diverted over 40% of the materials we picked up that day from the landfill. We were able to achieve this through our strong relationships with the Salvation Army, and the city’s recycling centers.
This junk hauling business is also an amazing way to help our local communities. We are active members of the Vista Chamber of Commerce, San Marcos Chamber of Commerce and Escondido Chamber of Commerce. We have partnered with E-World Recyclers and have sponsored free electronic waste drop-off days, from which we donated half the net proceeds to local education foundations such as Escondido Education Foundation, and are currently working with the San Marcos Education Foundation. We have also helped residents that were victims of the fires in the San Diego North County area. We delivered food, clothes and materials.
Roughly 60% of the junk that we pick up is donated or recycled. Some of the places 1-800-GOT-JUNK? uses to recycle and donate items are Quality Recycling, Ecology Metal, Lee’s Recycling, Salvation Army, Father Joe's and E-World Recycling. We are certified as an electronic waste collector in the state of California, which means we can pick up items such as computers, tv's, stereos, fax machines, CRT's and assorted other electronics. These items are taken to an electronic recycler, ensuring that they are recycled properly and don't end up in a landfill.
You may notice our trucks, or one our our energetic marketing tactics. We do our signature group waves in the morning at the entrance to the 15 South and E Valley Pkwy in Escondido. If you are out at lunch time and around North County Fair, you might find us at the corner of Bear Valley Pkwy and Beethoven wearing our blue wigs, dancing around, and having a ball. Our clean and shiny junk trucks can be seen cruising around town or at their homes on Sycamore and the 78 Freeway, Hacienda and Melrose, Valley View Plaza, San Elijo Hills, Twin Oaks or the 15 Freeway and Bernardo Ave, to name a few.
Hi, I'm Doug Ecklund, owner and operator of the 1-800-GOT-JUNK? Riverside franchise. Our junk removal business opened in 2005 and since then, we've picked up all kinds of junk from Riverside, Orangecrest, Woodcrest, Arlington, Canyoncrest, Arrowhead, Big Bear, Running Springs, Crestline, Redlands and many other places!
I was in the grocery business for 20 years when I decided that I would like to own my own business. Opportunity knocked when I fractured my back and took time off to work on opening my 1-800-GOT-JUNK? Riverside franchise. On December 5, 2005 our junk hauling operation officially opened and we immediately joined the Riverside Chamber of Commerce. We have teamed up with the Chambers Keep Riverside Clean & Beautiful (KRCB) program and participated in the Casa Blanca and Lincoln Park Projects, as well as the Great American Clean-Up. Our junk removal franchise has also been involved in the Adopt-a-Street program. I was recently recognized and received an award from Mayor Loveridge, Senator Dutton and Assemblyman Benoit for outstanding waste reduction. One of the reasons I chose to buy a 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise in Riverside is to be able to give back to the community. We have been able to donate and recycle over 70% of what we have collected. We also teamed up with the local radio station K-FROG for their annual food and toy drives. It is very rewarding to see how happy our customers are to get their space back without lifting a finger!
Hi, I’m Drew Boyles, owner of 1-800-GOT-JUNK? Greater Los Angeles. In 2004, after recovering from a start-up, I stumbled on a Fortune Magazine article about 1-800-GOT-JUNK? Anxious to get back into another entrepreneurial endeavor, I jumped at the opportunity to buy the Los Angeles territory along the coast.
As a 20 year resident of El Segundo and avid surfer, the coast is home to me. Since 2004, I have acquired 22 other franchise locations and operate across Southern California, Chicagoland, Greater Sacramento, Greater Santa Cruz and Monterey areas.

We are the largest single contributor to Anewed.org, a non-profit dedicated to repurposing and recycling to the benefit of the local communities and are weekly contributors to Habitat for Humanity, Goodwill and other charitable organizations.
When I am not working on a new project, I surf, ski and snowboard as much as possible, in between coaching my two little kids’ AYSO Region 92 soccer teams.
I am a member of the El Segundo Economic Development Advisory Committee and a Community Board Member of ESMoA, the El Segundo Museum of Art. I have served as Co-Chairperson of the Santa Monica / Malibu Surfrider Foundation. I have also served in various volunteer leadership capacities with Entrepreneurs' Organization, including two terms as President of the Los Angeles Chapter, two terms as a US West Area Director and as the US West Membership Director.
Steven Salustri & Matthew Purner, 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise partners, decided to completely change their lives, move into their vacation home and open a junk removal franchise in the Coachella Valley. Palm Springs Life Magazine wrote up an article about the pair's new life in the junk removal industry. While most of their jobs involve cleaning out sheds, yards, and garages, they've done their share of unique junk removals. Check out some of the funny and interesting "junk" stories and strange items they've been asked to take away.
1-800-GOT-JUNK? has been involved in several community events. One that we really enjoy being a part of is the Inland Empire Jazz Festival. This year it's being held at the Cucamonga - Guasti Regional Park in Ontario. This is an event that is put on each year to bring the community together to celebrate the wonderful music of jazz. We have a booth where people can come up and talk with us about their junk removal needs as well as participate in our fun booth games. Small prizes are awarded to the participants and after it is all over, we do all the clean up for the event.
1-800-GOT-JUNK? teams up with local radio station K-FROG for a food drive and collects over 22,000lbs of food.

California District 23 is an amazing program that sponsors little league teams for special needs children. 1-800-GOT-JUNK? has proudly taken a role in sponsoring the Challenger Junior Blue Jays for 2007.
1-800-GOT-JUNK? teamed up with C.A.U.T.I.O.N (Citizens Against Unwanted Trash in Our Neighborhoods). This is a program that was developed by the City of Montclair's Fire Department Code Enforcement Unit, to bring together the community as a whole to create an overall better appearance of the city. 1-800-GOT-JUNK? contributed its junk removal teams to perform tasks such as help remove large items (couches, appliances, lumber, etc.).
We participate in a variety of local events and charities in Palm Springs. Our favorite is the Palm Springs Gay Pride Parade and Festival! This event is always in November. Come on down to Palm Springs and watch the parade. It goes down Palm Canyon Drive and is tons of fun for the entire family.
