A look back at Space Invaders’ transformations
1800-GOT-JUNK? is always happy to help by making a difference in the lives of families in the community. Our Australian teams have been proud to lend a hand in supporting the families appearing in Space Invaders since Season 3. One of those families is Luke and David, who became overwhelmed by clutter in their small townhouse after Luke went through a personal crisis and turned to shopping as a coping mechanism. With support, improved communication, decluttering, and impressive renovations, Luke and David were left with an inspiring space to forge a bright future.
In Season 4, 1800-GOT-JUNK? continued to help families like Jo and Efrem. This tight-knit family was impacted by a sudden accident that left Jo with a shattered kneecap, leading to multiple surgeries and rendering her unable to work. The Space Invaders team and 1-800-GOT-JUNK? went to work, tackling the clutter and completely transforming the family’s garage–and their lives.
Season 5 continued to deliver emotional, transformative moments as the teams explored the inspirational and uplifting stories of Australian families in need of help. It was a delight to work alongside Peter, Cherie, and Angie to help these families clear a path toward happiness at home.
