Do you have scrap metal piling around your construction site or out behind your workshop or garage? Get rid of all that clutter by calling 1-800-GOT-JUNK? We are your Vancouver scrap metal removal solution, right here in your neighborhood and happy to help. We can provide not only scrap metal removal services for your construction site, business, or home, but we'll take care of any other junk you have piling up.
Trying to haul your own scrap metal away to a dump takes up far too much of your time, not to mention the strain it puts on your back. You may not have the trucks needed to haul it away on your own, and your local trash pickup service is unlikely to be of any help. Even standard recycling centers aren't interested in helping you out. So what should you do?
Easy. Call us at 1-800-GOT-JUNK? We're the world's largest junk removal service, and we'll show up on your timetable to take that scrap metal off your hands. Wherever you are, we can handle it. It's fast. It's easy.
If you've already looked into scrap metal removal, you're well aware that scrap metal can't be burned, and it won't biodegrade in landfills. That's why we take the proper steps to recycle scrap metal. We know the differences in requirements for ferrous metals that contain iron, or non-ferrous metals such as copper, brass, aluminum and bronze, and we know which recycling centers will take which kinds of metal. Hey, we recycled before it was cool, and we care about the health and beauty of the Vancouver environment as much as you do.
Scrap metal recycling makes you part of an environmentally aware movement to preserve the Earth's resources. Recycling also plays a role in reducing greenhouse gas emissions from the process of turning metals into alloys. Energy savings from recycling are very high, up to 60 percent for recycling iron and steel, and even as high as 90 percent for aluminum and copper.
Our team is well-prepared to deal with the weight and awkward sizes of scrap metal, and we can clear away whatever you've got, whether it's a whole construction site or just a few pieces leftover from preparing an artistic installation. Our workers show up in uniform with a smile on their face, driving a clean truck and ready to get to work. And yes, we're insured.
Just give us a call at 1-800-GOT-JUNK? to set up an appointment for you to show us what we're up against. Just point, and junk disappears. We'll come at your convenience, even if that means evenings or weekends. And we'll come when we say we're going to come, even giving you a call 15 to 30 minutes out so you know we're on our way.
Our prices are transparent and all-inclusive. We don't sneak last-minute charges onto the bill, and there are no hidden fees or add-ons. We agree on a fee, and then we clear every scrap of unwanted metal away from your location, hauling it away for recycling and disposal. We even sweep up before we leave, so all you have to remind you that we were here is an empty, clean space, a lack of guilt, and a sense of relief.
If you're ready to say, "Goodbye Junk. Hello Relief," then give us a call at 1-800-GOT-JUNK? We've been providing trusted junk removal since 1989, and we're the largest junk removal service in the world. We don't just haul scrap metal. In December 2015, a small town in Washington suffered from a rare Tornado, it had a path of damage two miles long. The tornado damaged many houses and yards. At 1-800-GOT-JUNK?, it is important to us to help our communities in any way we can. Therefore, the day after the Tornado, we donated two of our trucks and five of our team members to help aid in the cleanup effort.
Our teams are dedicated to being a part of our communities in the same way we are dedicated to decreasing our impact on the environment through donating and recycling.
Here are some photos of the aftermath. As you can see there are fallen branches throughout backyards, and fences were blown down. Our teams went door to door, asking those affected how we could help. Most of the houses needed wood removal.

If you are looking to get rid of a large amount of junk, garbage, and debris in Vancouver or Clark County, Washington, you may be tempted to rent a dumpster to hold it all.
There are a lot of good reasons to rent a dumpster in Vancouver, WA and area – but here are a few things to consider before deciding if a dumpster rental is right for your needs.
Dumpsters need to be placed on flat, level surfaces. This could be a driveway or street. If you place your dumpster on the street, you will need to get a permit from the City of Vancouver, which costs about $25.
The cost of a 30 yard dumpster after the delivery fee, haul fee, and rental fee for 14 days is several hundred dollars, all before your junk or debris gets taken to the dump. Once taken to the dump, there will be an additional charge of about $100 per ton.
A dumpster usually holds between two and six tons of material, depending upon the types of items being removed.
When you hire 1-800-GOT-JUNK? You avoid all of the hassles and fees that come along with dumpster rentals. We can arrive the same you call us, which means you don’t have to wait for a dumpster to arrive. We also take the junk that average dumpster rental companies will not take including, appliances and electronics.
Another great reason to use 1-800-GOT-JUNK? is that we’re up front about our prices: once our guys get on site, we will provide you with a clear, all-inclusive price for our service based on the space your stuff takes up in our truck. There are no extra haul fees or dumping fees.
When you call 1-800-GOT-JUNK, you may have the project completed before the city would have even gotten back to you about issuing a permit to start the process of using a dumpster!
There are times where it may make the most sense to rent a dumpster. Larger projects where there is plenty of room for a dumpster, or projects where the junk removal is going to be gradual, for example. But, for many of other instances, 1-800-GOT-JUNK? may be your easiest and quickest solution.
Please give us a call to schedule a free, no obligation visit by one of our truck teams to discuss the particular needs of your project and we can walk you through the two alternative.

For 1-800-GOT-JUNK?, Ben identified the need for a wide spectrum of marketing tactics (everything from consistent radio campaigns to direct mail to online marketing) to build his business. He is also working on building more commercial business for his Junk franchise, hoping to serve as a junk removal service for companies that have a recurring need for junk and trash removal.
His greatest challenge continues to be dealing with state and federal regulations around drivers, and vehicles.
What’s ahead? Ben is working on his moving company, You Move Me, because about a third of his junk removal clients are at some stage of moving. Moving and junk removal go hand in hand, so he’s bringing the same customer-focused experience of 1-800-GOT-JUNK? to moving in Vancouver, WA.
