The guys were on time I showed them what I needed picked up and they took care of it.
Every year, thousands of pieces of electronics become obsolete, resulting in countless computers, mobile devices, and more ending up in our local landfill. You probably know that your old electronics shouldn't be thrown out with the weekly trash, but transporting them to a local recycling facility isn't always convenient.
At 1-800-GOT-JUNK?, we provide a fast and easy solution for you. In many cases, our junk removal team is able to provide same-day pickup, making it easier than ever to get your unwanted gadgets off your hands. We love taking on junk removal challenges of all sizes, so give us a call today and show us what we're up against!
Hiding your old computer monitor amongst your weekly trash may be an easy disposal option, but it definitely isn't the most environmentally responsible thing to do. Why not? Well, your old electronics are constructed of valuable materials, like plastic, copper, and aluminum. When we recycle these materials, we conserve energy and natural resources while helping to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Additionally, electronics contain heavy metals, like lead, chromium, and mercury, all of which can leach into our soil and waterways, contaminating our environment.
Throwing out old electronics is not only bad for the environment, but it can also jeopardize your privacy and financial security. Dumpsters and garbage cans often contain a wealth of personal information and are a popular target for identity thieves. Even if your computers or devices are password-protected, an experienced criminal can bypass your security settings and gain access to bank accounts, passwords, and more private information. By ensuring that your electronics are properly disposed of, you can help keep your personal information safe.

Hi, I'm Noah Lander, your local franchise owner for 1-800-GOT-JUNK? St. Louis. We're proud to be the largest junk removal company in the St. Louis Metro area. I began servicing St. Louis in April 2001 when I returned home after graduating from the University of Arizona. As someone who has always loved entrepreneurship, I jumped at the opportunity to fill a need for quality junk removal in my hometown. I spent my first year working on our one and only junk truck, removing junk from homes and businesses all over the metropolitan area. It was an amazing opportunity to travel around this great city and learn about St. Louis' distinctly individual neighborhoods.
In early 2007, we expanded 1-800-GOT-JUNK? into the Metro East for full-time service in Illinois. In our seven years of junk removal, our junk fleet has grown to 10 trucks and a staff of 18. We work throughout the St. Louis region from the Chesterfield Valley to Florissant, Creve Coeur, Fenton, St. Charles, Alton, Fairview Heights, Webster Groves and Clayton. You may have seen us at Schaefer's Shell Station at Manchester and Big Bend in Maplewood, where we've parked our 1-800-GOT-JUNK? trucks for two years. In addition to clearing clutter, we like to find new ways to spread the word about our great service. On many sunny days we can be found at the corners of 141 & Olive Blvd. or Hwy 44 & Kirkwood Rd. wearing our blue wigs, holding our 1-800-GOT-JUNK? signs and waving to people and cars passing by.
To show our gratitude to Saint Louis for supporting 1-800-GOT-JUNK? and helping us grow our business over our first five years, we wanted to find a way to give back to our local community. We discovered Operation Food Search, a local charity that has been helping those in need in Saint Louis Metro for 25 years. We were truly inspired to help. Each December we hold our annual Hauling for Hunger Food & Fund Drive benefiting Operation Food Search. We also contribute to a variety other St. Louis charities and enjoy participating in community events throughout the region. In addition to donating furniture to Goodwill and The Salvation Army, and books to the University City Library, we proudly support the Clayton High School Football Boosters, Connections to Success and their Dress for Success Midwest program. We have taken part in the Webster Groves 4th of July Parade, Greater Belleville Chamber of Commerce Annual Chili Cook-off and Belleville's Santa Parade.

We love helping out local charities in St. Louis, and BWorks St. Louis is one of our new favorites! We recently donated about 40 bicycles to BWorks, and can’t wait to give more.
BWorks also provides kids with computers to use, so 1-800-GOT-JUNK? St. Louis will be donating old computer towers to them as well.
Keep 1-800-GOT-JUNK? in mind if you need help getting rid of an old bicycle, or an old computer. We can make sure that your old bike or computer get to a family in need.
In 2006, 1-800-GOT-JUNK? St. Louis started Hauling For Hunger, a food and fund drive benefiting Operation Food Search. For four years, during the month of December, we collected food, personal care products and household items to help those in our community who use Operation Food Search’s local food banks. We proudly gave our customers the opportunity to join in Hauling For Hunger and we were overwhelmed with the amazing support we received for this important cause.
Environmental responsibility is an important part of 1-800-GOT-JUNK? St. Louis. Much of the "junk" that we pick up is recycled and donated. Every week you can find our trucks at various St. Louis area Salvation Army and Goodwill Industries locations. We are local residents working to give back to the community and happily donate many new and used books to the University City Library. 1-800-GOT-JUNK? St. Louis has a great relationship with numerous local recycling centers which take paper, cardboard, computer monitors, glass, plastic, concrete, bricks and dirt. Wondering what happens to all of the refrigerators that we haul away? We are proud to work with Rapid Recovery for refrigerant abatement in an EPA compliant way before sending them to the metal recycler.
Here we are at the St Louis Art Museum. Who says we aren’t a very cultured bunch of Junkers?
1-800-GOT-JUNK? St. Louis recently hauled away some unusual junk: all of the wooden shipping crates used to transport a new art exhibit that’s being installed at the St. Louis Art Museum.
We’re not allowed to tell you what was inside the boxes! You’ll have to go to the museum to see the new exhibit first hand.
After graduating from university, Noah Lander wanted nothing to do with suits and ties. Instead, he turned to a career that focused on removing junk from the homes and businesses of St. Louis! What sets his trash removal service apart from large waste haulers and second-hand stores? His ability to take away his customer's furniture, appliances and construction debris no matter where it is. It could be in the basement, attic, garage, or construction site. Lander also donates his services to several non-profit organizations in St. Louis, including Hilljack House and RAVEN.
