Hi, I’m Sam Laney, General Manager of 1-800-GOT-JUNK? in Des Moines. Before joining the company, I attended the UMKC Bloch School of Business and played collegiate baseball. After graduation, I worked in insurance sales. When I first discovered 1-800-GOT-JUNK?, I knew it was a great place to grow my own career while helping to expand into a new market and grow a business. What I love most about this job is the freedom it gives me. I love helping to train and develop people—I love working with my guys to develop their skills both inside and out of work.
Outside of work, I love to travel and be outdoors and you can often find me hiking and camping when the weather is good. I also love playing disc golf and playing pool!
