Sean and partner were very courteous and friendly. They were efficient and there were no hidden surprises.
If you live in Orange County, CA, there is an easy way to rid your home of unnecessary clutter. Whereas dumpster rental can be inconvenient and effortful, using your local Orange County junk removal service is easy and hassle-free. Let's take a look at the advantages of calling 1-800-GOT-JUNK? when you need to dispose of bulky or heavy items or large amounts of waste.
The main advantage of using an Orange County junk removal service is that it is a much easier way of disposing of waste than renting a dumpster. There is no need to haul trash out of your home yourself and work out how to lift it into a dumpster. All you have to do is schedule your junk removal slot by calling 1-800-GOT-JUNK? A team of uniformed, professional workers will show up at the agreed time, load your items into their shiny truck, and make them disappear from your life for good.
When you use an Orange County junk removal service, there are very few limits on the types of items you can ask the team to take away. In general, as long as your junk will fit into our trunk, we are willing to take it away for you. Let us free you from the burden of broken appliances, obsolete electronics, rusty bicycles, stained carpets, and even yard waste and construction debris. We can even dispose of difficult items such as refrigerators.
Living in such a beautiful part of California, you surely want to see the local environment protected and kept safe from the harmful effects of irresponsible waste disposal. At 1-800-GOT-JUNK? we take our duties to the planet seriously. Wherever it is possible, we donate or recycle items instead of sending them to landfill. Any items that are not recyclable are disposed of responsibly to minimize the impact on local flora and fauna.
Orange County junk removal services may not be as expensive as you expect. When you rent a dumpster, you must take into account the cost of hiring the dumpster for as long as you need it, the disposal fee for the waste you put into it, and the cost of any permits you need to place the dumpster on the street. In contrast, 1-800-GOT-JUNK? has a simple and transparent pricing structure that is based on the volume of trash you want us to take away. Give us a call to discuss the costs and find out how much you can expect to pay.
If you are ready to let go of items you have not used in years, why not take the first step right now? Call 1-800-GOT-JUNK? today to book a time slot for junk removal slot that suits you and your family's schedule.
Hi, we are Bill Cox and Eileen Butler-Cox, the owners of 1-800-GOT-JUNK? Oceanside in north west San Diego County. Both of us are veterans of the U.S. Air Force and have been residents of Oceanside for more than 20 years. We are proud to say that our entire family, including our three sons, helped get our business started.
It has been great working with the cities we service. Since 2003, 1-800-GOT-JUNK? has worked directly with the City of Oceanside by participating in all of its quarterly river clean ups which are now coordinated with the efforts of I Love a Clean San Diego and, when requested to do so, report to the city all our figures on diverted materials to help Oceanside meet its state landfill diversion requirements.
In 2003, we received the Volunteer of the Year award from the Oceanside Women’s Resource Center. In 2007, the Kiwanis Club of Oceanside awarded us with a Distinguished Service award for our service to the club and the community. All this would not be possible without your support. I would like to thank every one of you who have used our service. I hope we have wowed you with our professionalism and commitment to this business.
Hi, I'm Darren Tavitian, the local owner and operator for the 1-800-GOT-JUNK? San Diego NE franchise servicing Escondido, San Marcos, Vista and Valley Center. I started working at 1-800-GOT-JUNK? in 2004 for the Greater Los Angeles franchise which serves most of the South Bay area.I started this career assuming it would be temporary, but instead worked my way up to General Manager of one of the Top 20 franchises, and in May 2007 bought the San Diego NE franchise.
The 1-800-GOT-JUNK? mantra we operate by is "It's all about the people," and that's exactly how we operate our business. At 1-800-GOT-JUNK? we treat every customer as if they are our only customer and ensure we meet all their junk removal needs. We thrive on challenges, like the 21-truckload job we completed in a single day. We diverted over 40% of the materials we picked up that day from the landfill. We were able to achieve this through our strong relationships with the Salvation Army, and the city’s recycling centers.
This junk hauling business is also an amazing way to help our local communities. We are active members of the Vista Chamber of Commerce, San Marcos Chamber of Commerce and Escondido Chamber of Commerce. We have partnered with E-World Recyclers and have sponsored free electronic waste drop-off days, from which we donated half the net proceeds to local education foundations such as Escondido Education Foundation, and are currently working with the San Marcos Education Foundation. We have also helped residents that were victims of the fires in the San Diego North County area. We delivered food, clothes and materials.
Roughly 60% of the junk that we pick up is donated or recycled. Some of the places 1-800-GOT-JUNK? uses to recycle and donate items are Quality Recycling, Ecology Metal, Lee’s Recycling, Salvation Army, Father Joe's and E-World Recycling. We are certified as an electronic waste collector in the state of California, which means we can pick up items such as computers, tv's, stereos, fax machines, CRT's and assorted other electronics. These items are taken to an electronic recycler, ensuring that they are recycled properly and don't end up in a landfill.
You may notice our trucks, or one our our energetic marketing tactics. We do our signature group waves in the morning at the entrance to the 15 South and E Valley Pkwy in Escondido. If you are out at lunch time and around North County Fair, you might find us at the corner of Bear Valley Pkwy and Beethoven wearing our blue wigs, dancing around, and having a ball. Our clean and shiny junk trucks can be seen cruising around town or at their homes on Sycamore and the 78 Freeway, Hacienda and Melrose, Valley View Plaza, San Elijo Hills, Twin Oaks or the 15 Freeway and Bernardo Ave, to name a few.

Recently, I've opened up a new moving company in Los Angeles and Orange County called You Move Me. We're excited to bring the same level of service you've come to expect from 1-800-GOT-JUNK? to the moving business through this sister company. Check out your new favorite local movers in Orange County and give us a call so we can move you (after we've removed all of your junk, of course).
When I am not working on a new project, I surf, ski and snowboard as much as possible, in between coaching my two little kids’ AYSO Region 92 soccer teams.
I am a member of the El Segundo Economic Development Advisory Committee and a Community Board Member of ESMoA, the El Segundo Museum of Art. I have served as Co-Chairperson of the Santa Monica / Malibu Surfrider Foundation. Drew Boyles is one our 1-800-GOT-JUNK? junk removal operators in the Orange County area. Orange County Business Journal interviewed him regarding hiring and retaining employees. Boyles hire employees who can not only do junk pickups and trash hauling, but they need to be good salespeople as well.
Terry Miller, our junk removal operator in Corona, holds his ribbon cutting and Yorba Linda Chamber of Commerce covers it. Terry is one of several franchise partners in Southern California, and a big part of the 1-800-GOT-JUNK? family.
1-800-GOT-JUNK's trash haulers from Corona donated their services and more to help a mother and daughter facing eviction due to too much junk. We cleared out an apartment that was full of junk, which included items like used clothing and toys.
1-800-GOT-JUNK? invites Orange County residents to get rid of electronic waste the green way on April 19, 2008. 1-800-GOT-JUNK? is committed to keeping communities clean, and hazardous junk out of our landfills. As part of the 1-800-GOT-JUNK? culture, our enthusiastic junk removers do waves to advertise our junk removal services. Our waves have made the local popular radio station KROQ and Star 98.7. The DJs were down in Huntington Beach and one of them said, "Have you seen those 1-800-GOT-JUNK? guys?" The other DJs started yelling, "Yeah those junk removal guys are awesome, I was on Main St. in Huntington Beach and those guys made my day."
Our 1-800-GOT-JUNK? team loves to let loose and have fun! Here in South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa after doing a crazy wave & caravan day.
At the annual Christmas parade in El Segundo California, the 1-800-GOT-JUNK? trash removal crew show off their exciting culture. "Wearing the blue wigs is as much a part of 1-800-GOT-JUNK? as physically removing junk," operations manager Brent Jameson says. "It's a reminder not to take yourself so seriously. It keeps us grounded, and energized." Having a fun and exciting culture is a huge part of the success of 1-800-GOT-JUNK?. "Work hard, play hard. It's our mantra." As proof, here we are at it again with one of our crazy waves!
Helping out those in need is without a doubt the most rewarding part of owning a 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise. Franchise partner, Terry Miller, recently read about a single mother and her disabled daughter who lost everything in an apartment fire. They were able to get another apartment, but the extent of their possessions was limited to the clothes on their backs. Terry immediately contacted the mother, Dee, and told her that he would help. The next day, 1-800-GOT-JUNK? arrived with a truckload of furniture, clothes, dishes, and even a hospital bed for her disabled daughter. Their appreciation and the priceless smiles on their faces are what make giving back the most rewarding part of this business.
A lady was moving from Long Beach to San Pedro. We removed a full truckload of junk with a couch, boxes, mattress and some other items on a Friday. After the pickup was done and we had left, the truck phone rang and it was the lady saying she could not find her cat Romeo. We looked though all the boxes of junk at the donation center and found no cat. On Monday, someone came and bought the couch from Goodwill and took it home. They felt a lump in the couch move. It was Romeo! We returned the cat to the customer who was extremely grateful.
Thanks for the Love! Actual customer reviews (typos and all ;)
