The top 12 weirdest items we’ve collected in 2025

The life of a Truck Team Member is certainly never boring. In fact, they often say that one of the best things about the job is that no two days are ever the same! We never really know what to expect when we show up at a home or business. While we do tend to pick up a lot of the same types of items each day, we’re still often surprised by some of the weird, wonderful, and unique items people get rid of.

We’ve come across some pretty interesting things recently, and they’re just too good not to share. Without further ado, here’s our Weird Junk Top 12 list!

12. 20ft tall shovels

Our Montreal team scooped up these giant shovels and we kinda dig ‘em. They could really come in handy for removing yard waste!

11. James Dean Cutout

Our Twin Cities team came across this James Dean cutout while on a job somewhere East of Eden. Don’t worry, we didn’t tear it apart!

10. Tiger Mask

It’s not every day you come across an item as grrrrrrrrreat at this one! This Truck Team Member really earned their stripes on this job.

9. Pink Flamingo

We couldn’t believe anyone would want to let something like this flamin-GO, but the Oahu team was happy to have it join our flock!

8. Papier-mache mask

We came up with a joke about this papier-mache mask, but you don’t want to hear it. It’s tearable.

7. Carousel Horse

We’ve been in the junk removal business for a long time, so trust us when we say items like this don’t come around often. (Get it? Because it’s a CAROUSEL HORSE. 😂)

6. Giraffe Head Mask

When it comes to making junk disappear, we’ve got high standards. Even when a job seems like it might be a tall order, it’s never a stretch for our teams. They’re always spot on!

5. Marlin

We were happy to help this customer scale back on the amount of stuff they kept in storage. They were so excited to sea their new space—they’re now hooked on junk removal!

4. Rainbow Ostrich

This customer decided that running out of storage space just wouldn’t fly any longer. They finally pulled their heads out of the sand and gave us a call!

3. 300lb Piggy Bank

We can understand why someone would have saved this giant piggy bank—we'd put money on the fact that they just couldn’t figure out what to do with it! Our two cents: giving something up to get your space back is always worth it.

2. Kid on Bike Statue

We’re going out on a limb here, but making a joke about this statue having a broken arm might not be very humerus. (To the statue, anyway.)

1. Garbozilla

Our Vancouver team helped Science World, a local science centre, remove Garbozilla–a giant, fire-breathing, scrap-metal dinosaur (yes, really). The team took some jurassic measures to make sure this job was done right!

There you have it! This might just be our weirdest list yet. (It’s pretty hard to top a giant fire-breathing dinosaur!) And who knows what else we’ll find before the end of the year? If this proves anything, it’s that there’s truly no junk too weird for us to take. We really do take just about anything!

Do you have something that might top these items? Don’t let the weird (or ordinary) junk get in your way—book an appointment today!
