Hi, my name is Jim Malinovsky and I’m your local 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise owner. We haul junk from the heart of Sacramento, Folsom, Granite Bay, Roseville, Fair Oaks, Rocklin, and more! Before owning this junk hauling franchise I worked for Ernst & Young in Los Angeles and Intel Corporation in Folsom, California. After 15 years at Intel working as a finance manager and then project manager, I wanted the opportunity to “run my own show”. The journey from High Tech to low tech has been very exciting and challenging. Although the “junk” business sounds low tech I have found working with 1-800-GOT-JUNK? is like working for FedEx at the time when everyone thought the Post Office was all you needed. 1-800-GOT-JUNK? is the new world of junk removal.
1-800-GOT-JUNK? is unique in many ways and our unusual marketing methods catch a lot of attention. You may see us in Granite Bay at the corner of Auburn Folsom Road and Douglas Blvd in Folsom, Orangevale, Fair Oaks or Roseville. We’re the crazy ones wearing our blue wigs waving at everyone. If you see us be sure to give us a honk!
If you haven’t seen us waving, you’ve probably seen one of our 1-800-GOT-JUNK? trucks in your neighborhood. We park our junk hauling trucks at several places around the eastern side of Sacramento. In Roseville you can find us at the Home Depot or at the Shell Station at the corner of Douglas and Hazel. Maybe you’ve seen us by our office in Folsom near the corner of Greenback Lane and Folsom Auburn Road near the Rainbow and Lake Natoma Bridge. We try to be in the places that are most convenient to you so we can be quick to respond to our customers.
We’ve been involved in some huge jobs that take 30 truck loads down to the smallest single item jobs. Don’t worry if you have just a few things, we can take care of it without you having to do a thing. Now you finally have a simple solution with just one call. This is a great service for any community and why I love being a franchise partner with 1-800-GOT-JUNK?
Our office is located at 6611 Folsom Auburn Road, Folsom, CA 95630 near historical Old Town Folsom and the Rainbow Bridge. We are near the intersection of Greenback Lane and Auburn Folsom Road by Lake Natoma.
Hi, my name is Triston Hopson and I am the General Manager for your local 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise in Sacramento. We haul junk from the heart of Sacramento, Davis, Dixon, Carmichael, Woodland, Elk Grove and more!
I started with 1-800-GOT-JUNK? in 2010, the day after I finished the Secondary Social Science Teaching Credential Program at California State University Sacramento. I started out as a truck team member while still being an Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach at American River College. I planned on staying only a short while as a way to pay my student loans off until I found a teaching job in the fall.
Instead of finding a teaching job I found a home with 1-800-GOT-JUNK? During my initial interview with the company I was told they promote from within and that if you are a good worker and have the desire to advance within the company you will have that opportunity. I became a Territory Lead after six months and Operations Manager four months later. I took the opportunity presented to me a year later to take over as Operations Manager for the Greater Santa Cruz 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise in addition to keeping my role in Sacramento. Now, I am back in Sacramento as the General Manager for the Greater Sacramento, Sacramento Northeast and Greater Santa Cruz 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise’s.
There are many things I love about this job including; recycling and donating the majority of items we remove from our client’s properties. I also love to learn about our customer’s unique story and circumstances. I am proud that we can help them reclaim some of their space and declutter their lives.
We are committed to training new truck team members to provide a service we pride ourselves on and that no other company can match.
If you have any unwanted items you need removed do not hesitate to call or go online and book a job with us, we will be right out to show you how we make the ordinary business of junk removal exceptional!
