Hello, I'm Jeff Hill, your local franchise owner for junk removal in Bellevue and Tacoma. I moved to the east side of Seattle from Spokane in 1997 and took up residence in Kirkland, where I began working in Issaquah for a telecom company that later became T-Mobile. In 2003 I left the corporate world and began working out of my home in Bothell, starting1-800-GOT-JUNK? of Bellevue / Redmond. Hauling junk, trash, debris and old appliances may not be most people's dream but it was the job for me.
Since those early days running a single truck out of my home I have grown my fleet to eight trucks and a couple of wrapped 1-800-GOT-JUNK? vehicles. I still work out of my home (now in Snohomish) and am pleased to have General Manager Brian Barr (also formerly of T-Mobile) running the office in on Woodinville Snohomish Road. In 2006, our team expanded our junk removal business north to Everett, Marysville and Arlington. In January of 2009 we added Tacoma, Federal Way, Puyallup and several other cities in Pierce County to our service area. In addition to my 1-800-GOT-JUNK? business, I recently opened FROGBOX, a sustainable moving supply company here in Seattle, further demonstrating my commitment to the environment.
My team and I work closely with the Seattle franchise (Nick Wood) as well as several other area franchise owners. Together we hope to bring a high level of professionalism and “5 star” service to an industry not traditionally known for that, while promoting community involvement, employee development and environmental responsibility.
