"I visited a property where some illegal dumping occurred at Meridian Rd. about 0.5 miles north of Elliot Rd. This dumping was identified via a citizen complaint to the Maricopa County Environmental Services Department. Thank you for providing the [charitable] cleanup activities with no service fees, a valuable service to your fellow citizens of Maricopa County."

Church of Junk

This old church is now home to both Phoenix franchises of 1-800-GOT-JUNK?, near Sky Harbor International Airport and Arizona Veteran's Memorial Hwy (I17). This is where we have our Recycling Center and Dispatch Office. Our goal in the Recycling Center is to recycle as much of the stuff we pick up as we can. This includes non-ferrous metals, such as brass, tin, copper, and aluminum (including soda cans, foil and clean disposable baking pans), steel, tires, and household paper (including newspaper, magazines, phone books, cardboard and chipboard)
From our Dispatch Office, we are in constant communication with our customers and our 12 trucks which cover the entire Phoenix Metro Area.
In addition, we are affiliated with the Society of St. Vincent de Paul charity of Phoenix. Anything, that they could possibly use, we bring back to the Sorting Center for donation to St Vincent’s. We have donated everything from used furniture, appliances, clothing and household items including beds, cribs, kitchen tables and chairs, working refrigerators, washers and dryers, stoves, dressers, linens, lamps, flatware, pots and pans, dishware and tools.
