Hi my name is Lee Fay and I am your local 1-800-GOT-JUNK? owner and junk removal operator. I got in on the ground floor of the 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise five years ago. Before opening the junk removal business in SW Florida my career was centered in Chicago as a real estate investor. After moving to Naples, Florida and looking for the next right opportunity, I read about 1-800-GOT-JUNK in the Naples Daily News. I then flew to Vancouver, Canada and sealed the deal. It wasn’t long after that that I found myself behind the wheel of a shiny 1-800-GOT-JUNK? junk hauling truck. Soon, we owned four of them and now we have a whole fleet of 1-800-GOT-JUNK? trucks!
Since May of 2003, junk removal, recycling, and trash disposal have been my life. We've had some unusual rubbish removal jobs, such as cleaning out a storage unit where the door would not open because the junk had been in there so long, it had frozen shut with rust. There was a garage clean out where we found a car that had been forgotten and buried in the junk, diamond earrings in a cookie jar, and a trunk full of shrunken heads from a distant culture. We’ve removed everything from hot tubs and sheds, a storage unit full of 1,000 ceramic molds, and cleaned out apartments and homes, not to mention thousands of tons of construction debris from the many beach penthouses from Sarasota to Marco Island. We also do a lot of foreclosure and apartment eviction clean outs. No matter what the job, our goal is to provide both our residential and commercial clients with quick, easy, cost-effective junk removal and to be a valuable member of the communities we serve. To do that I am a member and or board member of Keep Collier Beautiful, Immokalee Youth Foundation, Collier Building Industry Association (CBIA), Building Industry Association (BIA), Home Builders (HBA) and Builders Remodelers Council (RMC). We have served the Rotary Club, Convention and Visitors Bureaus, Building Management Association, Florida Assisted Living Association, Senior Care Group and religious service committees.
We have offices on the Gulf of Mexico in both Naples and Sarasota.
Junk pick-up:

“Our remodeling jobs go a lot smoother and quicker because your junk removal team is involved.”-- Dave, General Contractor, Cooper Construction, Bonita Beach, Dec 2007
“As a remodeler, it’s important for me to get debris out of a job site quickly so work can continue, and I outsource all that debris removal work to you. You make it easy, efficient and economical for me. It also lets our own guys remodel and that’s what they do best. Our clients love it and so do we. Thanks for great junk removal service.”-- Steve, General Contractor, Renovate & Restore, Naples, Feb 2008
“I’m glad we used your debris removal services in removing the construction debris from our recent remodeling job in Grey Oaks. One of the key reasons we use you so extensively is that your junk hauling team goes into the house and gets the junk, loads it on your junk trucks and are gone. We eliminate the dumpsters, the damage to the driveway and the mess is gone fast. And so is a lot of payroll/supervision. Thanks.”-- Carter, Carter Grant General Contracting, Naples, Feb 2008
What do working as a 1-800-GOT-JUNK? junk remover and serving in the armed forces have in common? According to Steve Ovsak, one of our junk haulers in SW Florida, it's the physical work, and having to wear a uniform and acting accordingly.
One of the strangest jobs he did was a garage clean out. After he had removed enough junk, it turned out there was a car!
