Hi, I'm Michael Zayac, your local manager of 1-800-GOT-JUNK?'s junk removal operations in Scranton. I have been operating my junk removal business in the greater Scranton, Wilkes-Barre, and Poconos region since March of 2005. You have undoubtedly seen our 1-800-GOT-JUNK? junk hauling trucks parked on route 315 in Wilkes-Barre or our trash removal crew donning blue wigs to do an early morning "wave" near The Radisson and Rocky's in Scranton. Perhaps you've even seen our junk hauling trucks along interstate 80 or route 209 in Stroudsburg.

Over the years of owning my junk hauling business, I've seen a fair share of interesting jobs! My most memorable moment was in 2007 when our franchise was selected as one of fifteen (out of over three hundred system-wide) to be awarded a Gold Standard Award. Our junk removal operation here in northeastern Pennsylvania was recognized as one of the best worldwide. We were also ranked in the top one percent worldwide in customer service. We pride ourselves on our customer service and always let our clients know we care.

We are located in Lackawanna Executive Park, Suite 201, Dickson City, PA 18519. Putting Junk To Good Use

Michael Zayac, the junk removal operator in Scranton, knows that trash can be put to good uses. His office contains chairs, filing cabinets, and a refrigerator that were obtained through his junk removals. His garbage hauling crew routinely sells, donates, recycles, and reuses the trash they pick up, thus reducing the amount of waste that goes to the landfill. Metals are sold at scrap yards, and paper, cardboard, and plastics are turned over to the Lackawanna County Recycling Center. Flood Clean Up In Great Bend

After a devastating flood of the Susquehanna River in Great Bend, PA, several businesses saw their buildings under four feet of water. Once the waters receded, 1-800-GOT-JUNK? and our big blue junk hauling trucks came to the rescue. A state owned and operated liquor store, which saw the brunt of the flooding, needed to remove and destroy all alcohol inventory immediately. After five days and an incredible twelve truckloads of waste later, the store was finally cleaned out all of its contents. This was by far the largest and most interesting junk removal assignment the Scranton franchise has ever completed.

We Support The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers!

Our culture is very important at 1-800-GOT-JUNK? and we try to get together with our employees regularly to do something outside of work. Our latest adventure was a Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers Arena Football League (AFL) game. We all sported our 1-800-GOT-JUNK? gear and our big blue wigs and off we went. Lackawanna River Clean Up

1-800-GOT-JUNK? was proud to help out the Lackawanna River Corridor Association. In April of 2007, we supplied two 1-800-GOT-JUNK? waste removal trucks and three members of our trash hauling crew to help clean up the the river bank in and around the corridor that runs behind the Ice Box in Scranton. We were there most of the day and ended up removing almost two tons of waste from the banks of the Lackawanna River. All in all it was a great success!
