Hi, I'm Davinder Sehmi and I own the Washington DC East franchise of 1-800-GOT-JUNK? We have 3 trucks servicing customers in Downtown DC, Capitol Hill, College Park, Landover and Glendale. I got started in the junk removal business after I saw one of those shiny, blue 1-800-GOT-JUNK? trucks on my way home from work one day. The name was so easy to remember and it made such an impression on me that when I got home I searched online for information on the company to see what they were all about - and I was hooked. That was 5 years ago and it was the best decision I have made in my life so far. Now I park my trucks in College Park, where I graduated from the University of Maryland. I was born, raised, and went to school in the DC Metro area and am very proud to own a business in my hometown. The weirdest DC junk we have been asked to remove was a live alligator - weirder still was that one of my drivers took the alligator home as his new pet. Hi, I'm Rick Galliher and I own the local junk removal franchise serving most of Northern Virginia. As a kid, I would ride my bike across town to the local dump just for fun - years later this job is still a natural fit. My family and I have lived in Fairfax County for 15 years.
