1-800-GOT-JUNK? got its start in Vancouver, when university student Brian Scudamore encountered a tight summer job market in Vancouver and started a junk removal service called The Rubbish Boys.

Hello, my name is John Breithart and as of 1/1/2008, I am the new owner of 1-800GOT-JUNK? in Lansing, Grand Rapids, and the surrounding areas. I have always wanted to own a business, so after 28 years in the service industry, I decided it is finally time. You may see me or any one of my employees driving the blue 1-800-GOT-JUNK? truck.  We enjoy what we do and take great pride in doing it well. Having minored in Conservation in College, we recycle as many items as possible to keep our environment clean. Also, we work closely with local businesses such as Habitat for Humanity, Goodwill, St. Vincent’s and the Salvation Army in our donation efforts. If you have used 1-800GOT-JUNK? in the past, I trust it was worth your time and money.
