Hi, I'm Doug Ecklund, owner and operator of Riverside and Redland's 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchises. Our junk removal franchise opened in 2005 and since then, we've picked up all kinds of junk from Riverside, Orangecrest, Woodcrest, Arlington, Canyoncrest, Arrowhead, Big Bear, Running Springs, Crestline, Redlands and many other places!

I was in the grocery business for 20 years when I decided that I would like to own my own business. Opportunity knocked when I fractured my back and took time off to work on opening my 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise in Riverside. On December 5, 2005 our junk hauling operation officially opened and we immediately joined the Riverside Chamber of Commerce. We have teamed up with the Chambers Keep Riverside Clean & Beautiful (KRCB) program and participated in the Casa Blanca and Lincoln Park Projects, as well as the Great American Clean-Up. Our junk removal franchise has also been involved in the Adopt-a-Street program. I was recently recognized and received an award from Mayor Loveridge, Senator Dutton and Assemblyman Benoit for outstanding waste reduction. One of the reasons I chose to buy a 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise in Riverside is to be able to give back to the community. We have been able to donate and recycle over 70% of what we have collected. We also teamed up with the local radio station K-FROG for their annual food and toy drives. It is very rewarding to see how happy our customers are to get their space back without lifting a finger!

Hi, I’m Jim Cunningham, General Manager for the Palm Springs 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise. I recently started working with 1-800-GOT-JUNK? and am excited to be part of this growing franchise. I heard about 1-800-GOT JUNK? from a friend and liked the idea of helping people get their homes, offices, yards and space back to normal. This company also affords me the opportunity to get out and meet people in this growing Coachella Valley County.
Our 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise donates to local charitable organizations and recycles as much as possible, diverting reusable items from the landfill. We recycle scrap metal for our customer in the cities of Desert Hot Springs, La Quinta, Thousand Palms, Palm Springs, Cathedral City, Rancho Mirage, Palm Desert, Beaumont, Banning, San Jacinto and Hemet. We donate other items to charities like the Salvation Army and Angel View in Palm Springs. We are also a California state-approved electronic waste collector, ensuring that all old computers, printers, televisions and other e-waste is collected and disposed of properly. 
There are many reasons why I'm happy to be a part of 1-800-GOT-JUNK?. I enjoy seeing customers' satisfaction, excitement and amazement after we've completed a job. Hello, I’m Terry Miller, owner of the Corona 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise. I started in January 2005 servicing Orange County. I am extremely excited to announce that as of January 2009 I am now hauling junk from the Temecula Valley as well, including Temecula, Murrieta, Winchester, Wildomar, Lake Elsinore, Sun City, and Corona.

Coming from a family of entrepreneurs, and after nine years in the automotive industry with Lexus, I decided to start my own business. 1-800-GOT-JUNK? was the perfect fit. It gives me the ability to help people and give back to the community. I look forward to removing your unwanted items and giving you back your space. We are committed to recycling or donating at least 60% of the items we pick up. We are a certified California e-Waste collector, so 100% of our electronics are recycled.

A huge part of our business is also servicing commercial clients; we have great relationships with many different property managers and regularly do office cleanouts, major construction projects, and small remodels. We are fully insured and can provide certificates with our clients named on our policy.

You will probably notice one of my five trucks around your neighborhood or maybe my wrapped Smart Car, or a large sign above my office when you are sitting in traffic exiting Winchester on I-15 South. Also keep your eyes open for our blue wig wave on Ynez Road.
