Hi, I'm Ward Halverson, and I operate the Eastern Shore's 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise, which offers junk removal service to the Maryland counties of: Harford, Cecil, Kent, Queen Anne's, Caroline, Talbot, Dorchester, Wicomico, Worcester, and Somerset; and also the Delaware counties of Kent and Sussex. I have been operating this 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise since 2006, and am often asked, "What do you do with the junk?" My enthusiastic answer is that we attempt to donate and recycle as many of the items as possible! Some of the charities we donate to include the Diakonia homeless shelter in West Ocean City (www.diakoniaoc.org), US Against Multiple Sclerosis in Harford County, the Hidden Treasures thrift store in Chestertown Maryland, and Good Will Industries in Bel Air, Elkton, and Dover.

“The labor intesive work associated with moving items from one's area to the truck is done by the company. I called a few places about dumpsters and pretty much all they do is drop the dumpster off and the customer is tasked with removing said items into the dumpster. It is a brand new junk truck we have just purchased and we were lucky enough to be able to park it inside the mall during the months of January and February.
