Hi I’m Gerry Cote your local junk removal owner and operator of 1-800-GOT-JUNK?. I opened the first 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise in Chicago over 7 years ago and we've grown from one 1-800-GOT-JUNK? truck and one employee to twelve junk removal trucks, 18 employees, an ops manager and we're still growing. Our shiny 1-800-GOT-JUNK? trucks can be seen nearly everywhere throughout our territory along Rand Road, Arlingtong Heights Rd, Central Ave, and Lawrence Ave in Chicago. If you don't see our 1-800-GOT-JUNK? trucks there you may see them as our drivers do waves along the busy roads through our territory such as Rand Rd, or Barrington Rd. Our customers love the service, and think our truck teams rock.

Our 1-800-GOT-JUNK? truck teams, led by "Fast Eddie" my operations manager, have been successful at locating many recycling facilities and charitable institutions that allow us to save nearly half of what we pick up for recycling or reuse. We have recycling facilities that accept electronic waste, concrete and gravel, metal, and even mixed construction debris. Local charitable institutions such as Wings accepts furniture in good condition for their resale stores and proceeds go toward helping battered women. We have had the pleasure of being Santa's helpers in the annual toy drives for Catholic Charities and we participated in the toy parade with truckloads of new bicycles to make Christmas a little brighter for many needy but deserving boys and girls.

Hi I'm Chris Coleman, General Manager for the Chicago Downtown 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise. Our office is located just East of Oak Park and River Forest, right on the way to Chicago if you hop on the Eisenhower. We're in beautiful Sungate Park on Roosevelt road. Our 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise has been servicing the South and Southwest Chicago Suburban area for over 3 years. We’ve made a business of collecting peoples' unwanted commercial and residential junk.

Our 1-800-GOT-JUNK? trucks travel from as far south as Frankfort to as far north as Downers Grove with 5 trucks and 10 crew on staff, we're picking up truck loads of junk each and every day. You've probably seen our shiny blue trucks parked at Orland Square Mall or at Smugglers Cove at 153th & Harlem Ave. Maybe you've seen us at the Labor Day Parade during Frankfort Fall Festival, as members of the Frankfort Chamber of Commerce, or maybe in the Orland Park Lions Club Orland Days Parade, as members of the Orland Park Chamber of Commerce. We're always up and down Ogden Ave in Downers Grove & Hinsdale and have even had customers stop our 1-800-GOT-JUNK? truck to have our crew follow them to their house for immediate junk removal!

The real secret behind our service is we do all the loading and lifting, you don’t. The biggest job we've had to-date was 49 truckloads out of one house in Orland Park! Now that’s a lot of junk!! We are very pleased to say that we are also able to recycle 40-60% of the junk we collect. We use several charity organizations in the area, especially Goodwill, and recycle paper, cardboard, metal and other semi-precious metals on top of that. It's always a great feeling when we're able to reuse items that, prior to our junk removal service, may have just gone into a dumpster and then off to a landfill. "What a great service you provide!"" We hear it so often, especially from the customers that have garages that protect their junk while their cars sit outside. We are the junk removal experts helping people regain their space back and we look forward to helping you!

Hi, I’m Chris Becker GM for the Chicago North 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise. I have been working with 1-800-GOT-JUNK? for five and a half years. My family and I live in Crystal Lake, and I was born and raised most of my life in Hillside, Il. Out of Jacobs High School in Algonquin Il, I attended Concordia University to pursue a degree in education. During my second year of college, I had a change of mind, and decided to go back home and pursue a different career as a firefighter. I was working at working at Miller Funeral Home in Dundee Il while I was attending the fire academy. Upon completing the fire program, I heard about 1-800-GOT-JUNK? and inquired about working for them. I was hired and started as a driver for the Chicago junk hauling franchise and loved working for 1-800-GOT-JUNK? from day one.

Within the year, I realized that I wanted to be a part of this company that strives for excellent customer service. I stayed with the 1-800-GOT-JUNK? Chicago franchise for three and a half years, until my wife and I had our first child. At that time, we decided that I would stay home with our son on a full time basis for eight months. After quickly realizing how demanding being a stay-at-home dad was, I was eager to return to work at 1-800-GOT-JUNK?.

There are many reasons why I'm happy to be a part of 1-800-GOT-JUNK?. I'm proud of the professionalism we bring to our customers and the type of service we provide them. I enjoy seeing customers' satisfaction, excitement, and amazement after we've completed a job.

Our 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise donates to local charitable organizations in the community and recycles as much as possible, so that all the junk we pick up is not being sent to a landfill. We take scrap metal to Behr recycling of Woodstock and Rockford, Rondout around Lake Bluff. The items we donate we take to charities like Salvation Army of McHenry and Libertyville and On Angels Wings of Crystal Lake.

The most memorable experience with 1-800-GOT-JUNK? was in March of 2007. The old Libertyville High School needed to be completely cleaned out. In just two days, several 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchises assisted with the clean up. In the end, we removed over fifty-four truckloads, involving twenty-three employees. Many of us did not even know each other, but we are a 1-800-GOT-JUNK? team getting the job done.

1-800-GOT-JUNK? provides a lot of excitement for me. Getting a chance to meet different people everyday while helping them create space is rewarding. I feel very fortunate to be with a company that believes in great customer service and can truly guide its employees to work as a team.
