Recycling Mattresses in Madison

2011 Middleton Clean and Green

On April 23rd, we participated in the Middleton Clean and Green Event, behind Greenway Station in Middleton.  We were collecting used mattresses for Yank's Export.  Yank's uses the mattresses to pack cars into international cargo containers which are exported from Wisconsin to Gambia, Africa.  Once the shipping containers arrive in Africa, the mattresses are donated communities throughout Gambia.
