What made you choose 1-800-GOT-JUNK?

I was lucky in that prior to me purchasing my franchise I had an opportunity to work for the Junktion for three years. I worked out of a field office in Washington, DC as a Field Advisor helping Franchise Partners grown their businesses. I was initially drawn to the franchise because of the experience, the people and the culture.

 

What was your career before 1-800-GOT-JUNK?

Prior to working for the Junktion, I was employed by the Young Entrepreneurs’ Organization (YEO) as a Chapter Development Manager.

 

What advice would you give candidates reviewing this opportunity?

Make sure you’re 100% committed to this if you want to succeed.

 

What is your favorite thing about owning a 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise?

The things that first attracted me to the business still hold true: I love the people, the culture and the experience. As long as I’m growing and learning then I’m happy. I also have really enjoyed watching my team grow. It’s a rewarding experience to help others - and if we can do it while we’re all making money, all the better!

 

Interesting fact about yourself?

I used to live in Antarctica and have completed an Ironman.
