What made you choose 1-800-GOT-JUNK?

I was looking to move back home and Memphis was one of the largest metros without a franchise at the time. Plus our cousin in Buffalo had been operating a successful franchise with 1-800-GOT-JUNK? for some time and we had an inside scoop on how well the company was run.

 

What was your career before 1-800-GOT-JUNK?

We were both senior airline executives.

 

What advice would you give candidates reviewing this opportunity?

Research your market, search your soul and if you're up for a challenge with potential big pay off -- jump in headfirst.

 

What is your favorite thing about owning a 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise?

The freedom to choose my own lifestyle. Also we enjoy the "GREEN" part of our business by recycling and donating.

 

Interesting fact about yourself?

I have two wonderful daughters, Sarah and Rachel, ages five and three.
