Simon Lowe, VP, Franchise Operations

As Managing Director, Simon Lowe is responsible for ensuring operational consistency throughout the 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise system, providing an operational perspective to all corporate programs and systems, as well as developing and facilitating training and in-field learning programs. He also leads Australian and Quebec operations, Communications, and Customer Experience (NPS).

Simon joined 1-800-GOT-JUNK? in 2005 as a Business Development Consultant, working with new Franchise Partners to ensure their businesses launched successfully. Simon was promoted in 2006 to lead the Business Development Consultant department and to run operations in the Australian market. In 2009, Simon took on the role of Director, Operations Services and successfully launched and implemented 1-800-GOT-JUNK?’s Net Promoter Customer Experience program. Over the course of one year, the company’s customer loyalty index increased an unbelievable 14 points.

Previous to 1-800-GOT-JUNK?, Simon spent eight years as Director of Operations at a third-party administrator for insurance giants such as AIG, London Life and Sovereign General Insurance Company. He also worked for several years in the education sector after completing his Bachelor of Education degree.

A native of Australia, Simon moved to Vancouver in 1997. He is an avid snowboarder, and enjoys spending as much time as possible at Whistler mountain during the winter and hiking British Columbia’s west coast during the summer.

"Wow! Your guys, Bob Anderson and partner Clint (from the Willowbrook, IL office) were incredible. They went up and down my basement stairs probably 30 times each, and never flagged. My basement had flooded 2 weeks before, so much of the stuff they were removing was waterlogged. They were courteous and just did a fine job, and in a very timely manner. I definitely will call you again. (And a tip to prospective customers: a nice touch would be to have some cold Gatorade on hand for the crew. I know I will next time! It's hard, hot work.)"
