Kerrie Shakespeare, Director, Communication

As Director, Communications, Kerrie is responsible for employee engagement and alignment towards the achievement of the company’s vision and goals both within the Junktion,1-800-GOT-JUNK?’s corporate head office, and at the franchise level. Kerrie has more than 10 years’ experience building and executing communications strategy. She started at 1-800-GOT-JUNK? in 2008 as Communications Specialist.

Prior to joining 1-800-GOT-JUNK?, Kerrie was Marketing and Communications Strategist at BCIT, British Columbia’s largest post-secondary institution, where she developed strategic marketing and communications plans to help students discover the power of career-focused education. Kerrie also held various Marketing, Public Relations and Corporate Communications roles at Best Buy Canada, Future Shop and Crystal Decisions. 

A mother to an active toddler, Kerrie enjoys spending time with her family, travel and photography.
