Hello, I’m Stephen Cunningham and I have owned the Space Coast 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise since 2006. My background is in plant management and I spent 12 years in a corporate environment. When I first visited Brevard County in 2002, I knew immediately that this was the place where I wanted to live and work. When it was time to start my own business 1-800-GOT-JUNK? was the perfect choice because it was a company that didn’t just use the phrase “customer service” as a marketing slogan – they actually delivered it.
Many people ask us what we do with the junk. Our business philosophy is to leave as small an ecological footprint as we can by avoiding disposal at the Brevard County Landfill site. To accomplish this we donate and recycle as much junk as we can. This involves donating to local thrift stores or directly to families in need and separating items such as metal, tires and electronics for recycling. The most enjoyable part of our junk hauling job is the satisfaction that our customers have when they realize that their junk was removed in an ecologically responsible way.
1-800-GOT-JUNK? is still a new concept for Brevard County but the response we have had is fantastic. Our customers can't believe the level of service we offer as a full service junk removal company and are "wowed" by how easy we made it for them to remove their unwanted junk.
