Hi, my name is Mark Weiss and my business partner is Derek Ralston. In 2004, we purchased our 1-800-GOT-JUNK? junk hauling franchise in New City. We began hauling junk in January 2005. You can find our 1-800-GOT-JUNK? junk removal trucks in New City, Nyack, Ridgewood, Chappaqua, White Plains, and Pearl River just to name a few!
The greatest benefit of owning our 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise is to be part of the communities we serve. We love hearing people say they see our junk hauling trucks everywhere and what a great service we provide! We donate items such as furniture, clothes and toys to local charities including People to People in Nanuet, NY. After donating, we send the charitable donation receipts back to our customers. Recycling is an important part of our business. We recycle metal, paper and various items such as concrete.
Our office is located in Rockland County, New York just ten minutes from the Tappen-Zee Bridge and twenty minutes from the George Washington Bridge.

Trash Removal For MTV's Run's House
Over the last year, New City's 1-800-GOT-JUNK? trash removal franchise has developed a good relationship with MTV in their efforts to keep the set of Run's House free of junk. The home, which is based in Saddle River, NJ, has become the set for the very popular reality show. While MTV is usually our customer, we have also built up a working relationship with the show's main character, Rev Run (Russell Simmons), and his family. We sent holiday cards this past year, and if you can believe it we received one back from the Simmons which we keep up in our office. We work with a local non-profit organization called Keep Rockland Beautiful (KRB). For the last three years, we have been a sponsor and contributor of trash collection services to the Great American Cleanup. In Rockland County, NY, this annual drive involves over 2,000 volunteers and roughly 175 cleanup projects - both large and small. The entire event results in about 25-30 tons of trash collected from streets, parks, streams and beaches. Everyone from the community pitches in and the cleanup leaders include parents, teachers, businesses, civic groups, scout troops and others.
