Hi, I'm Brian Heiser, your local owner and operator of Long Island's 1-800-GOT-JUNK?. I opened the first 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise in the New York City metro area in April 2003. I started my junk removal service by servicing Plainview to Glen Cove/Oyster Bay and Westbury Long Island, then quickly expanded along Old Country Road and Jericho Turnpike and across Nassau's north shore into eastern Queens.
Before introducing 1-800-GOT-JUNK?'s junk hauling services to Long Island, NY, I was a Director of Operations of an electronics firm. After 15 years of being involved in the design and manufacture of membrane switches and touch screens, I recognized an opportunity on the ground floor of a soon-to-be successful franchise, 1-800-GOT-JUNK?. The 1-800-GOT-JUNK? junk hauling trucks are a mainstay in the area. One 1-800-GOT-JUNK? truck became a landmark early in our franchise's development because of its parking spot in the lot on Jericho Turnpike by Syosset Bowl. Although none of the trash removal
trucks have been parked there for quite some time, people still recognize the truck from having seen it there. Most people, however, recognize our junk removal trucks from constantly seeing them on the road hauling junk to be donated or recycled. Often, that is en route to or from New Hyde Park where furniture and other items are donated to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul on Jericho Turnpike. Nearby, the junk hauling trucks can be seen bringing metals to be recycled. Paper, construction and demolition debris is recycled in Westbury and in Port Washington along with yard waste and electronics waste (e-waste) through the Town of North Hempstead's recycling program.
Our Long Island 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise and others around us are affiliated with non-profit groups such as Children's Sport Connection who provides assistance to families in need by facilitating children's involvement in sports. Our 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise assists by donating and transporting donated sports equipment. We are also all new Member Advocates of The Long Island Way who network businesses and local non-profits in the Long Island community. Additionally, Nassau and Suffolk franchises sponsor such business organizations as the Long Island Board of Realtors, Long Island Commercial Network, and the Women's Council of Realtors among others.
The best part of owning a 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise is the relationships between the junk removal crews, clients and call center. First, people get a chuckle out of the name. When they speak with our call center, they're thrilled at how friendly the folks are and how simple the whole process is. They're thrilled again when we call to let them know that we're on the way to their location and they're waiting with open arms when we arrive. The junk removal teams feed off that and go way beyond clients' expectations. It's a great feeling when clients are so happy so consistently.
Our main office is located in Syosset, NY on Jericho Turnpike near the Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway.

Hi, I am Paul Spateri and I own the local 1-800-GOT-JUNK? servicing Suffolk County. You can find us hauling junk from Long Island, Hauppauge, Smithtown, Commack, Kings Park and more! When opening our doors for business in January 2006, we were confident that we could satisfy the needs for junk removal for Suffolk County and beyond. Being a locally owned and operated junk removal company we will settle for nothing less than perfection.
The entire staff from owners, office personnel and truck team both work and live in Suffolk County. We represent our communities through the jobs we do and the local community support we provide. You can see us in action through Newsday articles, News 12 reports and through our local newspapers. We’ve helped out organizations such as "Angela's House", a home for terminally ill children, and supplied needed equipment and money to the Brentwood Athletic League after they were robbed for the second time in two years. We do anything we can to get involved in the community.
