Hi, we are Cliff and Mary Brahm, the 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise partners for Cincinnati, Dayton and Northern KY. Our 1-800-GOT-JUNK? operations just celebrated five years of hauling junk! With over 10,000 delighted customers served during this time we continue to “wow” our clients. Our 1-800-GOT-JUNK? offices are located in the Dayton Mall and Springdale/Tri-County areas, and our junk trucks service Cincinnati, Dayton and Northern KY. We love being 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise partners because as Cliff says,”It allows us to use our skills to truly help people in our local area. We help so many people going through life changes and our best reward is when an overwhelmed customer smiles at the end result, their clutter gone and their area cleaned up. Wow, what a feeling that is. We love it!”

But our story doesn't end after we load the junk on our trucks. We have made a company goal to be socially and environmentally responsible. We work with many local charities and recycle centers. If an item we pick up has useful life left in it we donate it to someone who can make use of it. We are proud of our many charitable partners, like the local Red Cross. Our junk removal franchise received a ""Good Neighbor Award"" for donating enough furniture and household items to house over 100 families in one year! We made a commitment when we opened our trash removal business to change the face of junk removal and hauling in this area, to become the industry leader in a professional, customer satisfaction, full-service business. That face has a name, 1-800-GOT-JUNK?

Prior to opening our trash removal franchise Cliff had 30 years of professional management experience with major companies in the southeastern Ohio region, including General Motors, Mead Data Central, LEXIS-NEXIS, and Huffy Service First. Cliff has volunteered his time with The United Way of Dayton, the Centerville Jazz Band and was President of the Dayton Metro Baseball Association. Mary worked for Mead Corporation and Mead Data Central before taking time off to raise their son. She has volunteered her time as PTO President for Ida Weller School in the Centerville District, for the Centerville Jazz Band, Miami Valley Jazz Camp, and the Cub Scouts. She also worked for the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery visiting schools throughout the Miami Valley with traveling wildlife exhibits.

We Commit To Recycling In A Big Way

Our commitment to supporting the environment inspires our Cincinnati 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise to recycle up to 60% of what we pick up. One organization we donate to is recognized nationally for its innovative approach to community recycling, McMRF a materials reuse facility. McMRF accepts donations that are warehoused in a retail like setting. Non-profit organizations can then “shop for free” at McMRF for items they can use within their organizations. Office furniture, paper products and much more may then find their way to a preschool daycare or children’s art class.

Earth Day

On Saturday, April 19, 2008 1-800-GOT-JUNK? participated in a corporate-wide event to collect electronic waste for Earth Day. With one of our trucks parked at Tri-County Mall we provided a free opportunity for anyone to dispose of all kinds of old computers, printers and monitors. Helping to make the community aware of the hazard of improperly disposing of this kind of junk, we collected enough items to fill a truck which we then recycled or disposed of properly.
