Our Toronto junk removal business launched in May 1999 when Paul Guy started the first 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise. Paul began cleaning out garages, removing old furniture, appliances, and construction debris in the GTA. It was quite evident early that the need for junk removal in Toronto was intense. Paul quickly added a business partner; Derick Ladurantaye and together they doubled their capacity to meet the strong need customers had for junk removal across Toronto, Mississauga, Etobicoke, Brampton, Markham, Oshawa and Thornhill. The Toronto junk removal franchise grew rapidly on the heels of great service and great customer care; 1-800-GOT-JUNK? now has 315 franchises in Canada, the United States, and Australia. Complete with thousands of quality items, home delivery service (for a minimum donation), refreshments and auctions, all proceeds from the yard sales will benefit the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. 1-800-GOT-JUNK? has collected thousands of quality, gently-used items including furniture, sporting goods/memorabilia, kids’ toys, bikes, home décor, exercise equipment, garden accessories, art and more. We’re aiming to raise $40,000 this year! 1-800-GOT-JUNK? in Toronto has raised over $100,000 for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation since starting to host this yard sale eight years ago.
