Simon Lowe, VP, Franchise Operations

As Vice President, Franchise Operations, Simon Lowe is responsible for ensuring operational consistency throughout the 1-800-GOT-JUNK?franchise system, providing an operational perspective to all corporate programs and systems, as well as developing and facilitating training and in-field learning programs. He also leads Australian and Quebec operations, Communications, and Customer Experience (NPS). 

Simon joined 1-800-GOT-JUNK? in 2005 as a Business Development Consultant, working with new Franchise Partners to ensure their businesses launched successfully. Simon was promoted in 2006 to lead the Business Development Consultant department and to run operations in the Australian market. In 2009, Simon took on the role of Director, Operations Services and successfully launched and implemented1-800-GOT-JUNK?’s Net Promoter Customer Experience program. Over the course of one year, the company’s customer loyalty index increased an unbelievable 14 points. 

Previous to 1-800-GOT-JUNK?, Simon spent eight years as Director of Operations at a third-party administrator for insurance giants such as AIG, London Life and Sovereign General Insurance Company. He also worked for several years in the education sector after completing his Bachelor of Education degree. 

A native of Australia, Simon moved to Vancouver in 1997. He is an avid snowboarder, and enjoys spending as much time as possible at Whistler mountain during the winter and hiking British Columbia’s west coast during the summer.

"Schedule within a 2 hour time frame. Call when they are on their way. They do the heavy lifting-- My unit is quite a distance from the street and I had items in my basement and way off in my parking garage. They don't leave a mess. (One guy had muddy boots so the other guy insisted on hauling everything up from the basement and left the other guy to do the outdoor work.) Polite and friendly."
