Hi, I’m Aaron Fastman, your local 1-800-GOT-JUNK? owner and operator in Vermont. Opening our Williston-based junk removal franchise in 2006, we offer our junk hauling services to Burlington, Essex Junction, Essex, Shelburne, Charlotte, and St. George just to name a few.
I’ve lived and worked in Vermont since 1992 and prior to opening 1-800-GOT-JUNK?, I owned several small businesses and worked at Burton Snowboards in Burlington, and also as a social worker at a local community health agency serving adolescents in South Burlington. When I discovered 1-800-GOT-JUNK? I was ready for a change and looking for a new career path. Helping to run my junk removal franchise is Brad Myers who is the operations manager.
We are strategically located on the corner of Williston Road and Industrial Avenue in Williston. Our office and three blue 1-800-GOT-JUNK? junk trucks are hard to miss! I’m sure you have noticed our clean, shiny junk trucks strategically parked throughout Chittenden County and our trash removal team dressed in blue wigs waving to traffic passing by. Perhaps you’ve also seen me driving around in my wrapped 1-800-GOT-JUNK? Honda Civic with the license plate "GOTJUNK". If you see me, be sure to give me a wave or a honk! If you haven’t seen us, be sure to keep an eye out for our Vermont trash hauling team, especially if you’re around Overlook Park in Essex Junction or Shelburne Road in South Burlington.
Our 1-800-GOT-JUNK? Vermont team is a proud member of the Lake Champlain Chamber of Commerce and we regularly participate in local community events such as the Magic Hat Brewery’s Mardi Gras Parade. We have also donated to the Howard Center and other local charity organizations and events. It’s very important for us to work with other local businesses and community organizations to support the Vermont community we live and work in.
I love owning my junk removal business - setting and meeting goals, defining my own schedule in order to spend time with my family, and growing a business from the ground up without being limited to other people’s guidelines or visions. I appreciate 1-800-GOT-JUNK? as a larger company for their support in my mission, their resources on effective and innovative marketing tactics, and their commitment to supporting franchise owners in exploring possibility and growth within their local community.
1-800-GOT-JUNK? Vermont is located just minutes from Burlington at 4626 Williston Road at the corner of Williston Road and Industrial Ave. We are located right next door to Earth Cars and share a parking lot with ROX Paving Company.
Junk pick-up:

“A recent renovation project I was working on involved removing the entire roof. I called 'my junk hauling guys' to save the day. The junk removal team had to lug heavy roofing material around to their junk trucks in the front of the house, which was no easy task. Two truck loads and about an hour later, the site was clean and safe. My crew was able to continue working which allowed for greater efficiency on the job. Thanks junk guys!”-- Amy, Founder/Owner, Plane Jane Builders, Shelburne, Mar 2008
“1-800-GOT-JUNK? is a lifesaver in more ways than one! Their trash removal teams show up on time, and they clear and clean the space in question. They do everything they can to see that your unwanted junk finds its final destination in the most environmentally responsible way possible through reuse and recycling. The peace of mind alone is worth every penny!”-- Kris, Montpelier, Jan 2007
“The 1-800-GOT-JUNK? junk removal crew that came to our office was courteous, professional and really pleasant. In our business, we hold ourselves to a high standard to consistently exceed our clients' expectations, and that is how we felt we were treated when working with Aaron and his junk hauling team. Thanks again.”-- Sheehan, Aurora North Software Inc., Burlington, Aug 2007

We started using biodiesel when Isuzu began a six-month pilot program to test biodiesel usage in the US and Canada. Burlington, Vermont happened to be chosen as one of the test locations. Our junk removal operator in Vermont, Aaron Fastman, was thrilled that his junk trucks could be involved in the biodiesel test. Now 1-800-GOT-JUNK? runs all its trash removal trucks on biodiesel. The benefit? Better mileage and a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions.
Using biodiesel fuel fits in with the environmentally-friendly mindset of 1-800-GOT-JUNK?, which tries to recycle as much of the junk it collects as possible. "The whole company is very green ... the biodiesel just sort of complements that," says Fastman.
