Address:
Hi, I'm Noah Lander, your local franchise owner for 1-800-GOT-JUNK?. We're proud to be the largest junk removal company in the St. Louis Metro area. I began servicing St. Louis in April 2001 when I returned home after graduating from the University of Arizona. As someone who has always loved entrepreneurship, I jumped at the opportunity to fill a need for quality junk removal in my hometown. I spent my first year working on our one and only junk truck, removing junk from homes and businesses all over the metropolitan area. It was an amazing opportunity to travel around this great city and learn about St. Louis' distinctly individual neighborhoods.
In early 2007, we expanded 1-800-GOT-JUNK? into the Metro East for full-time service in Illinois. In our seven years of junk removal, our junk fleet has grown to 10 trucks and a staff of 18. We work throughout the St. Louis region from the Chesterfield Valley to Florissant, Creve Coeur, Fenton, St. Charles, Alton, Fairview Heights, Webster Groves and Clayton. You may have seen us at Schaefer's Shell Station at Manchester and Big Bend in Maplewood, where we've parked our 1-800-GOT-JUNK? trucks for two years. Now we are proud to operate out of our St. Louis headquarters on the northwest corner of Olive & Skinker in University City. We are a few blocks north of the Delmar Loop, a few miles away from Forest Park and downtown Clayton. Our shiny blue trucks are parked around the metro area from the 7-11 on Woodbine in Kirkwood, Missouri to Scuba World on Hwy 159 in Swansea, Illinois.
In addition to clearing clutter, we like to find new ways to spread the word about our great service. On many sunny days we can be found at the corners of 141 & Olive Blvd. or Hwy 44 & Kirkwood Rd. wearing our blue wigs, holding our 1-800-GOT-JUNK? signs and waving to people and cars passing by.
To show our gratitude to Saint Louis for supporting 1-800-GOT-JUNK? and helping us grow our business over our first five years, we wanted to find a way to give back to our local community. We discovered Operation Food Search, a local charity that has been helping those in need in Saint Louis Metro for 25 years. We were truly inspired to help. Each December we hold our annual Hauling for Hunger Food & Fund Drive benefiting Operation Food Search. We also contribute to a variety other St. Louis charities and enjoy participating in community events throughout the region. In addition to donating furniture to Goodwill and The Salvation Army, and books to the University City Library, we proudly support the Clayton High School Football Boosters, Connections to Success and their Dress for Success Midwest program. We have taken part in the Webster Groves 4th of July Parade, Greater Belleville Chamber of Commerce Annual Chili Cook-off and Belleville's Santa Parade.

"I contracted your service for the disposal of trash left in a commercial building I own in Webster Groves. I just wanted to pass on to you the pleasant experience I had with your employees. I wanted to let you know that they were both very professional, courteous, and very efficient in helping me with the disposal of what my ex-tenant had left behind. It is too bad that the majority of companies in the St. Louis area do not have employees with the same caliber as theses two gentleman. Thank you again for your wonderful service. I will definitely pass your name on to all of my friends."-- Patty, Bridgeton, Nov. 2005
"Dear 1-800-GOT-JUNK?, we want to let you know what a pleasure it was doing business with you. Phil and Dave could not have been more hard working, co-operative, and polite. They were extremely efficient. Our thanks to your company and your outstanding workers."-- Carol, Ladue, June 2007
"We had to use your services to empty a home on Bellevue Ave. We were impressed with the young, hard working gentlemen on your staff. Phillip, Craig, Chris, Rob, Hajj and Kevin often ran to get a new load to add to the truck. Each was very polite, offered to help in any way they could, and was professional in his job. Congratulations to you on your fine staff. Please let them know that we think highly of them!"-- Beverly, Maplewood, Sept. 2007

We'll carry out old couches, refrigerators and other unwanted items from the basement or attic Monday through Saturday. After graduating from university, Noah Lander wanted nothing to do with suits and ties. Instead, he turned to a career that focused on removing junk from the homes and businesses of St. Louis! What sets his trash removal service apart from large waste haulers and second-hand stores? His ability to take away his customer's furniture, appliances and construction debris no matter where it is. It could be in the basement, attic, garage, or construction site. Lander also donates his services to several non-profit organizations in St. Louis, including Hilljack House and RAVEN.
Throughout the month of December, we proudly sponsor Hauling For Hunger, a Food and Fund Drive benefiting Operation Food Search. In addition to collecting donations from our St. Louis junk hauling team, we decided to bring Hauling For Hunger to our customers as well. We found this to be a great way to build rapport with our clients and share the joy of giving. While they're at the trash removal site, our junk removers present each customer with information about Hauling For Hunger and offer to accept donations. While we remove junk for them, our customers are able to look around their home for a can or two. In the true spirit of holiday giving, we have received a wonderful response from our very generous customers. In 2006, we collected over 260 pounds of food which helped feeed nearly 490 hungry people. In 2007, we collected 635 pounds of food and $140, enough to feed over 1100 hungry St. Louisans! The St. Louis 1-800-GOT-JUNK? team looks forward to this annual event.
Each year on the day after Thanksgiving, the city of Belleville welcomes Santa to town with the largest holiday parade in southern Illinois. The 1-800-GOT-JUNK? junk removal team from St. Louis was thrilled to be a part of the 2007 festivities as we joined hundreds of floats, marching bands and dance groups celebrating an “Old Fashioned Christmas”. Operations Manager Chris Darr and his Belleville friends and family joined in the fun as we drove our decorated junk truck down Main St. and tossed blue and green candy canes and other 1-800-GOT-JUNK? themed items to the crowd. Santa and his loyal reindeer were truly impressed!
