Hi, I am Bill Thorn, your local 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise owner in Regina, and I enjoy helping people get rid of clutter! Before getting into the business of junk removal, I spent 25 years in the radio broadcasting industry, entertaining listeners and helping hundreds of local businesses, Crown corporations and ad agencies achieve their advertising and marketing goals. I realized that I have a passion for helping others and that led me to opening Saskatchewan’s first 1-800-GOT-JUNK? operation in August 2005. Everyone has junk, and everyone needs a service like 1-800-GOT-JUNK? at some point to remove the trash, rubbish, and clutter in their lives. Our devotion to Regina also shows through our donation to community groups like Habitat for Humanity, the Salvation Army, Computers for Kids, Queen City Marathon, Relay for Life, and North Central Community Association. I figure that sooner or later, I will have a chance to meet just about everyone in Regina!
Our office is located at 1865 Mackay Street in east Regina. We are a block north of Victoria Avenue, close to Arcola Avenue. The Regina Power Centre is close by, and we have easy access to the southeast area of Regina.

Waste Removal For Queen City Marathon
As one of the prairies' largest Boston Marathon sanctioned running events, the Queen City Marathon attracts over 3000 runners from across Canada and the norther USA. Each year, 1-800-GOT-JUNK? Regina travels the marathon route collecting waste from each aid station. This donation of services helps keep costs down for the event and allows organizers and volunteers to more fully concentrate on staging a truly world-class running event!
Regina North Central Community Clean Up
Always ready to help, 1-800-GOT-JUNK? Regina has twice participated in the Regina North Central Community Clean up. The event helps to clear debris and other junk that tends to pile up in the inner-city community. By helping to clean up the neighbourhood, we feel we are helping the area residents to take pride in their community and simply make it a better place to live.
Basement Clean Out
We removed some junk from an ederly man's basement one fall day. The removal took quite a while as there was a large wood stove that was difficult to bring up the stairs due to its size. We called in extra truck team members to complete the job. We also removed some debris from beside the customer's garage that was sitting on top of a pile of leaves. With the debris gone, we cleaned up the leaves. We still had a few minutes that we could spare before our next job, so we not only cleaned up the leaves around the garage, but we raked his entire yard! The customer was blown away that we would take the time to do this and was very appreciative!
