Hi, my name is Miles Maynard, and I own the Winston Salem 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise. We offer our junk removal service to the entire Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina. I came to this junk hauling business after serving as an Air Force officer and working for several multi-national corporations over the past 25 years. I was 1-800-GOT-JUNK? trucks in several cities during my travels and was intrigued by the concept. After investigation, I decided that it was a unique business opportunity I wanted to be a part of. 1-800-GOT-JUNK? is truly a customer service centric company, a huge contrast to the poor and impersonal service experiences that many of us endure on a daily basis. This alone drew me to owing my own 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise.

Over 65% of the junk we pick up gets donated or recycled. Since starting our junk removal business we have had the pleasure of working with a lot of charities and organizations in the community such as Habitat for Humanity and Goodwill Industries to name a few. We volunteer for the Keep Greensboro Beautiful Adopt-a-Street Program where we clean a stretch of road throughout the year. We have also sponsored a youth soccer team at the Speas YMCA in Greensboro, NC.

We have assisted not just charities and residential clients, but commercial clients as well, including Unifi, Hanesbrands, Keller Williams Realty, Hospice of Winston Salem, Prudential Realty, Greensboro Housing Authority, Iron Mountain, Cassels Caywood & Love, Dero's, and Truliant Federal Credit Union to name a few. In fact, we've completed well over 1,700 jobs since opening in March of 2005.
