Address:

Hi, my name is Mark Reese and I'm the franchise partner for both 1-800-GOT-JUNK? junk hauling operations in Olympia and Bremerton. In Olympia, you can see our junk removal team hauling junk from Olympia, Lacey, Turnwater, Yelm, Dupont, Shelton and more! You will also see myself and our junk removal team doing waves with our wacky big blue wigs all over from Martin Way, Yelm Highway, Pacific Avenue, Hawks Prairie to Black Lake Boulevard. Watch out, you might catch our blue wig spirit!

We started removing junk in Olympia in March of 2006. I was motivated to bring 1-800-GOT-JUNK? to Thurston County to provide a service that didn't exist, while bringing customer service back. When we first opened our Olympia junk removal operation, our first office was located just off of Black Lake Boulevard in the Parkmont Office suites, but we recently moved across the street from the Salvation Army on 4th and Central. more bio>>

Josh Beard is the general manager for our Olympia junk removal 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise. "It's been a wonderful ride building this useful junk removal service in my home town of Lacey. I was born and raised in Olympia, graduated from Timberline high school in 1991 and have had a few jobs since then, but none quite as rewarding as the work I've done with 1-800-GOT-JUNK? over the last two years. I've been under houses, up in attics, around people's yards, and even worked in the middle of a herd of bison. I have cleaned up construction waste, cleared out barns, emptied countless garages, even cleaned out the beds of client's trucks. I've seen couches, shingles, accordions, toilets, and so many other things I could go on forever. The one thing I know for sure is that from Shelton and Allyn all the way to Dupont and Spanaway, every day is a new adventure and a great chance to give our clients world class service in junk removal."

We take great pride in giving people their space back and knowing that we can make sure that everything will go to the correct place. Whether that is Goodwill, Salvation Army, St. Michael's Church or even South Sound Steel, it's our pleasure to make sure that any junk we haul that can be reused or recycled will be.

We have partnered with a variety of businesses throughout Olympia, Lacey and Tumwater where we park our junk trucks. You might have seen them at Tags Trophies, next to the Olympia Oyster House, Capital City Golf Course, AutoZone, Safeway on Carpenter Road, A Little Bit of Heaven on Martin Way, and Country Home Day Care. Keep your eyes out for our 1-800-GOT-JUNK? team in your neighborhood.

Our office is located on the corner of 4th Ave and Central in downtown Olympia. We are within one mile of the state capitol building and the Old Olympia Brewery. We are a few blocks north of The Olympian and just down the hill from Ralph's Thriftway. From just outside our front door we have views of Capitol Lake, Budd Inlet, Harrison Hill leading up to the West Side of Olympia. Easy access to Lacey, Tumwater and I-5 make this a wonderful spot for us to call home.

Territory: Junk Removal - Bremerton
Address:

Hi, I’m Steve Sprague, the operations manager for our Bremerton 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise. Mark Reese, franchise partner for both the Olympia and Bremerton 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchises, opened this junk hauling operation in March 2007. Mark brought 1-800-GOT-JUNK? to Bremerton, Bainbridge Island, Silverdale, Port Orchard, Poulsbo, Lakebay, Olalla, Gig Harbor and Fox Island to provide a service that didn't exist, while bringing top notch customer service back.

I have always had a passion to provide excellent customer service to every customer I work with, so 1-800-GOT-JUNK? was a perfect fit. I moved to Lacey, Washington in 2005 and first began working as a member of the junk removal team at our Olympia 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise in April 2006. After nine months of the blue wig spirit growing on me, I decided to further my career at 1-800-GOT-JUNK? when the opportunity to become an operations manager in Bremerton came along. more bio>>

Whaling Days Parade In Silverdale

We participated in the Whaling Days Parade in Silverdale. We drove one of our clean, shiny junk trucks while our junk hauling team walked along the streets in our blue wigs handing out 1-800-GOT-JUNK? toy trucks and candy. Everyone loves our toy junk trucks! It was a lot of fun to be out in the community, getting involved and giving back to the people that support us. Look for us again this year with bigger blue wigs and more junk trucks.

Polar Bear Plunge At Long Lake Park In Lacey

On New Year's Day of 2008, one of my junk haulers, Nick Mehr, and I did the Polar Bear Plunge at Long Lake Park. It was put on by Lacey Parks and Rec. One of our other team members, Gerad Noble, saw a reader board the week before that advertised the Plunge. He thought it would be cool if we all did it together. Sometime before the the event, Gerad came down with the flu and couldn't jump in with us (his loss). We all showed up together and even recruited a few extra blue wigged, uniform-wearing crazies to freeze with us. In the past, I've seen people on the news do this in different areas and always said that is something I would never do. Now, I'll never miss the chance to do it again. It was around 39 degrees in '08, but I'm hoping for snow this year!
