Hi, I’m John Patterson and I opened my 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise for business in Madison on January 1, 2005. Our Madison full-service junk removal franchise serves Dane, Jefferson and Waukesha County, in addition to the grater Madison area. You can often see our 1-800-GOT-JUNK? Truck Team Members near the intersection of Whitney Way and University Avenue having a good time waving while wearing our blue wigs. If you see us, be sure to give us a honk! Our junk trucks are also hard to miss and can be found parked at Midvale, East Washing Ave, Allen Blvd, Speedway Drive, Park Street, and the Beltline.
We pride ourselves on donating useable items to St Vincent DePaul on behalf of our customers. We also recycle metal items at All Metal Recycling on Park Street. Computer monitors, refrigerators, microwaves, and dehumidifiers all contain toxic materials that must be disposed of properly. So in Madison we utilize Moor's Salvage located on Edna Taylor Parkway to recycle these items.
Our 1-800-GOT-JUNK? Madison franchise has been featured locally in the Cap Times, The Isthmus, The Wisconsin State Journal, In Business, On Wisconsin Magazine, WISC TV 3, and WKOW TV 27.
Our office is located at 705 Post Rd Madison, WI 53713-4621. From highway 12/18, exit south on Fish Hatchery Road. Turn left on Green Way Cross. Turn right on Syene Rd. Turn left on Watson Rd. We're on the left, look for the Storage Shop USA sign.
Junk pick-up:

“We want to let you know how pleased we were with your service and especially with our junk removal team, Andrew and Erik. They were considerate, polite and worked hard to get all our stuff loaded in the most efficient way possible. We could not have asked for two nicer people to work with. We needed our late mother's apartment cleared from an independent living unit and both Andrew and Erik were so considerate of our feelings and were kind and patient when interacting with other residents of the facility. Those young men should be commended for representing your company in the most professional and compassionate manner. We will recommend your service to anyone in need of junk removal.”-- Keith B, Madison, Jul 2008
“The two guys that were out here cleaning up my junk were ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! I loved that they cleaned up after themselves and swept out the garage even though all they did was walk through it to get inside! Yet another very happy customer! Great job guys.”-- Kim M, Madison, Jun 2006
“I had the best experience with your company and I wanted to make sure the guys who came to my house get due credit for the awesome job they did. Curtis and Keith were the 'lucky' two who did the job. We asked them to remove a huge and incredibly heavy ancient chest freezer and refrigerator from the basement of our over 100-year-old house, which is complete with a super narrow stairway, low ceilings, and protruding rock-wall foundation that got in their way. It was a job that most people would have probably said forget it to in the first 10 minutes, but not Curtis and Keith! They kept their cool the entire time and really used their heads to figure out how to get the monster appliances out of there without hurting themselves or any part of our house. It was actually quite entertaining. I could hear them discussing different ways of trying to fit the freezer up the stairs and they'd cheer any time they made some good progress. I could hardly believe it when they actually got both of the appliances out of the house. I'm sure it caused more than a little frustration on their part, but you'd never know it by their attitudes. They were down right pleasant to be around, and speaking as a woman who was there alone, I was totally comfortable having them in my house. You should be very proud to have Curtis and Keith representing your company. I will definitely call again should we be in need of your services and I'd request these two again if I could! Thanks for everything!”-- Becky W, Mazomanie, Jun 2007
“The Truck Team, Roy and Brian, were great. I spent the whole weekend helping my daughter clean up 22 years of accumulated junk. They did a wonderful job and were very polite. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a service like this. I like to make a point of complimenting anyone who has made my life better by doing a good job and they certainly did the company well by representing 1-800-GOT-JUNK? in such a positive manner. Good job guys!”-- Viviana, Madison, Oct 2007
