Hi, I’m Gary Kucsan and I own the 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise servicing the Lehigh Valley. When we first began our junk hauling operation in May 2004, we had one junk removal truck. Today, we have four! You can see our 1-800-GOT-JUNK? trucks all over Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton, Macungie, Emmaus, Coopersburg and everywhere in between.

Through the years we’ve seen a lot of junk! In fact, I can remember our very fist junk removal job. It was a blast! A man on Emmaus Ave in Salisbury Township called to have us do a garage clean out. When we got there, it wasn't a garage clean out at all. He wanted us to take the entire garage, and we did! While there wasn't much to recycle from that particular job, over the past four years, there has been plenty. We keep finding new ways to recycle even more of the junk that we pick up. Currently, we have avenues to recycle paper, books, metal, electronics, yard waste, and plastics. In addition, we often pick up junk that is re-usable that we donate to Goodwill, The Good Shepherd's Replace and other charities throughout the Lehigh Valley.

As the owner of this junk hauling franchise, I believe it is important to find opportunities to give back to the communities we're a part of. I grew up in Bethlehem, attended Liberty High School, and have returned to live here after completing military service. Being a 1-800-GOT-JUNK? business owner in the Lehigh Valley allows me to service the communities where I grew up, where my parents grew up, and where my grandparents grew up. The Lehigh Valley is a wonderful place to live and anything we can do to make it better is important to us. So, we have donated our trash removal services. As a member of the Lehigh Valley Builder's Association, we were involved in the Habitat for Humanity project on the south side of Bethlehem where the Builder's Association members built a four unit townhouse for four deserving families. more bio>>

Through this business endeavor, I have had the opportunity to meet some very special people in the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, the Lehigh Valley Builder's Association and the Business Referral Network. All of these people share the same passion for doing business right here where we live. 1-800-GOT-JUNK? allows us to help people in Mt Bethel, Coopersburg, Macungie, Walnutport and everywhere in between. One lady we did a job for this past Valentine's Day said she called 1-800-GOT-JUNK? because she thought we were having so much fun doing our blue wig wave. When we handed her some chocolates and wished her a Happy Valentine's Day, she literally cried because she knew we cared. Her "junk" was going to be donated and the fact that we would give her a gift on Valentine's Day made her very happy. We do care. We care about our customers, our community and our people. We want to help make our area an even better place to live.
