Hi, my name is David Wise. My junk story started in early 2005 when my mother-in-law saw a 1-800-GOT-JUNK? Truck Team removing junk from the King of Prussia Mall. I remember her telling me that I had to look into this junk hauling business. Being an entrepreneur since I could walk, of course I was interested. I did some research, went for an interview, and we opened our 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise on January 2, 2006 in Lancaster and Reading.

This area was a natural fit for me. I've lived in Berks County my entire life and attended Governor Mifflin High School. My wife, Lauren, and I currently live in the Wilson School District with our three daughters. Having exceeded all of our revenue and performance goals we were crowned "Rookie of the Year". Wanting to continue this kind of success we decided to purchase the York junk removal franchise, now known as Gettysburg, in June 2007. Our 1-800-GOT-JUNK? business continues to grow and we look forward to working with you to reclaim your space by removing your junk.

Our office is located just off North Park Road, a few blocks from Vanity Fair in Wyomissing.

Trashformations at Lancaster Museum of Art

1-800-GOT-JUNK? sponsors the art show, "Trashformations" at Lancaster's Museum of Art

We were very honored when the Lancaster Museum of Art asked us to sponsor Trashformations, a contest for local art departments to see who could come up with a piece of art made out of "trash". Our general manager, Dave, was on the judges panel to decide which piece was the most creative. It's always great when junk can be reused, especially in a unique way.

Hauling Ducks?

When the March of Dimes contacted us to help with the Rubber Duck Regatta we were more than happy to help. Our trucks were used to transport the precious rubber ducks to the drop location along the river in York.Lancaster's 1-800-GOT-JUNK? team volunteers at the March of Dimes

Easter egg hunt

Who doesn't like a good Easter egg hunt? Our Truck Team handed out balloons to all the kids and got to meet many of the people living in our community. The weather wasn't great, but we had a great time at the Red Caboose Park in West Lawn.
