I started my 1-800-GOT-JUNK? junk hauling business three years ago and I love every minute of it. You can find our shiny 1-800-GOT-JUNK? junk hauling trucks roaming the streets of Woodland Hills, Tarzana, Encino, Sherman Oaks, Van Nuys, and Canago Park just to name a few!
What I love best about my 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise is that we help customers declutter their homes, hauling junk like mattresses, appliances (e.g. dishwashers, fridges) and electronics. We help out our environment in the process. It's also highly rewarding to have employees who work as hard as my junk removers do for the company and our customers. I grew up in the Valley and have always been surrounded by good people, but having a junk hauling service gives us the opportunity to meet lots of new people everyday. It never ceases to amaze me how kind people are and how much they love our junk removal service.
We recycle as much as possible on a day-to-day basis. We are e-waste certified by the State of California, making sure that the e-waste we collect is properly recycled.
We also donate a considerable amount to charities such as Goodwill and Out of the Closet. We have donated our junk removal services to local non-profits such as the Tarzana Community and Cultural Center, The Pacific Lodge Boys Home and Woodland Hills Elementary School. Almost all paper and metal goes directly to the recyclers, and we are always trying to find new ways to increase our recycling. I love that I can own and operate a business like 1-800-GOT-JUNK? where we are not just helping people declutter their lives, but we're helping the environment through the process!

Hi, we are Zaid and Jane Awni, owners of your local 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchises servicing the junk removal needs of the northwest San Fernando Valley. We have been part of 1-800-GOT-JUNK? since February 2006 when we opened our first franchises in the Hollywood and Downtown areas. We have been residents of Northridge since 1986 and when the opportunity to open a 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise covering the area we resided in came up, we jumped on it and started our third operation in May 2007.
This junk removal hauling operation started with a single junk hauling truck and now has grown to a three truck operation covering the Chatsworth, Northridge, West Hills, Canoga Park, Reseda and Bell Canyon areas in less than one year. Our nephews, Salomon and Zeev Belilty, along with their best friend, Andrew Capuana, have helped us take all of our junk hauling operations to the next level. They have built a solid team working on providing the best customer service experience our clients can imagine. If you are ever driving around on intersections like Tampa and Rinaldi, Topanga Canyon and Roscoe, Tampa and Devonshire close to the Northridge Mall, Corbin and Parthenia, Sherman Way and Schoup, Reseda and Lassen, or Mason and De Soto and you spot some fun-loving, goofy guys wearing blue wigs waving at you, feel free to stop and say hello or wave back!
We serve both residential and commercial clients like studios, production companies, real estate brokers, property managers, homes for the elderly and disabled, senior homes, bank and foreclosure properties, contractors and estate attorneys. We are licensed, insured and are a certified e-waste collectors by the State of California. We make every effort possible to divert waste from our landfills by donating to charity and recycling everything we can. Up to 70% of what we pick up is recycled or donated locally at our franchise. Goodwill, Salvation Army, The San Fernando Mission, local churches and schools are some of the places that help us find new homes for items that we pick up from our clients. It feels good to help both our customers and our environment!
Our office is located on Sunset Blvd. east of La Brea and west of Vine. From the 101 freeway, you can exit Highland and head south past Hollywood Blvd. and the Highlands. Turn left, heading east onto Sunset Blvd. at the corner of Hollywood High School which will be on your right hand side. We are two blocks West of Amoeba Music and the Jack in the Box on Cahuenga towards the CNN Towers.

Earth Day: Free E-Waste Disposal For Tarzana & Santa Clarita
What's Earth Day? On April 19, we will be properly collecting and recycling old electronics on this one day, free of charge (some conditions may apply). This event will be held at various locations across North America. If we're holding Earth Day in your city, come by and make use of our e-waste disposal service! You can drop off old electronics like televisions, computer monitors, batteries and cell phones. Tarzana Community and Cultural Center's mission statement incorporates the desire to help out the environment. As our 1-800-GOT-JUNK? goals also have an environmental aspect to them, we found it mutually beneficial to co-sponsor our Earth Day event. With this event, the Tarzana Community and Cultural Center and 1-800-GOT-JUNK? are getting the word out to the community that we are doing our part for the local environment. Additionally, 1-800-GOT-JUNK? has donated $250 towards the community center's "Retire the Mortgage" fund raising efforts.
