Hi I'm Marc Lemieux and I've owned and operated 1-800-GOT-JUNK?'s trash hauling operation in Kitchener Waterloo for four years. My junk removal franchise also services the surrounding cities of Guelph, Cambridge, Woodstock and Stratford. Our junk hauling teams can be seen donning blue wigs and waving to cars at Lackner and Victoria in an effort to drive attention to our brand and unique service.
Our garbage removal team participates in local events such as the Tim Horton's Community Clean -Up Crews, assisting the crews in doing garbage cleanups from local parks and river beds. We donate items to the local Goodwill, Salvation Army, Bibles for Missions, and Habitat for Humanity as well as Value Village stores. These donation efforts reduce the impact on the environment and increase the lifespan of local landfills. We have removed junk from many local businesses, big and small. We've provided junk hauling for everything between restaurants to factories, and even the Waterloo Children's Museum when they are changing displays for the museum.
I am a member of the Kitchener Waterloo Chamber of Commerce, the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce where I have mentored young professionals who hope to one day start their own business in the region. I am also an associate member of the Waterloo Regional Apartment Manager's Association and a full member and chairman of the Kitchener Waterloo Business Networking group.
My most memorable job was a 16 truckload junk removal for a factory in Cambridge that was being sold. The owner who hired us thought that the site cleanout would take weeks but we wowed him beyond belief when we got it done in three days.
We are located at 1595 Victoria Street North in Kitchener. Our office is conveniently situated to service Kitchener, Waterloo, Guelph and Cambridge. We located there to be close to our recycling partner SEL Recycling, who are located directly behind us on Centennial Road, allowing us logistical efficiencies for responsibly recycling the junk we need to dispose of.
