Hello, we are Dave Harrop and Andrew Wilson, your local 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise partners here in Hawaii. We have both been involved with this great junk removal brand for over five years throughout North America. Dave got his start with 1-800-GOT-JUNK? in 2003 when he bought his first junk hauling franchise in Calgary, Alberta. He had previously owned and operated a highly successful Certa Pro Painters franchise for five years. Dave was looking for a fun, young business culture to get involved with where he could work and play hard.

In 2002, while serving as an Infantry Platoon Leader with the 82nd Airborne Division on the border of Afghanistan and Pakistan, Andrew read a Fortune Magazine article about 1-800-GOT-JUNK? and how they were looking for Franchise Partners in his hometown, Kansas City. Once Andrew returned home, he bought his first junk removal franchise in Kansas City.

In 2007, Dave decided to take his passion for 1-800-GOT-JUNK? to Oahu and open his second 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise. He wanted to provide the people of Hawaii the opportunity to do business with a company that is committed to recycling and the environment. In late 2007, Andrew was returning from his second deployment in Ramadi, Iraq, and decided to move his family to Hawaii to help Dave build the fast-growing junk removal business. Andrew now resides in the beautiful town of Hawaii Kai with his wife and three kids.

Owning 1-800-GOT-JUNK? has given us the opportunity to become very active with many professional organizations throughout Honolulu County and Hawaii. We are members of the Hawaii Chamber of Commerce, Entrepreneurs Organization, Hawaii Association of Professional Organizers (HAPO) and the Better Business Bureau.

We have become productive corporate citizens in our community through our aggressive recycling efforts, which keep 60% of the waste we haul out of local landfills. Our efforts have diverted thousands of tons of metal, paper, plastic, e-waste and other reusable materials from polluting our delicate Island environment. We have also been active in developing relationships with church groups and other charitable organizations which find second homes for some of the gently-used items we remove from homes and offices throughout Oahu.

We thank the over 2,000 customers in Oahu that have hired us to remove junk from their homes and businesses. We look forward to helping you get rid of your junk in an environmentally friendly way!

Our office is located in the Downtown Business District of Honolulu at 234 Queen St., Suite 900. It is conveniently situated only blocks from The State Capitol Building, Aloha Tower, The Queen's Medical Center, and China Town. Our office is also only a short drive from Ala Moana Shopping Center, Waikiki, and Pearl Harbor.
