Territory: Junk Removal - Eastern Shore
Address:
Hi, I'm Ward Halverson, and I operate the Eastern Shore's 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise which offers junk removal service to the Maryland counties of Harford, Cecil, Kent, Queen Anne's, Caroline, Talbot, Dorchester, and also Kent County of Delaware. We cover a large area, but hopefully you have seen at least one of our big, blue, shiny 1-800-GOT-JUNK? junk hauling trucks either parked in the evening or traveling to a junk removal appointment. We are often traveling on Highway 50 between Stevensville and Easton, or parked at Friel's Lumber on Highway 301 in Queenstown. In Delaware, we can be seen parked at night in Dover on Highway 13. Lately, in Edgewood, Maryland we have also been parking our junk trucks on Pulaski Highway, also known as Highway 40, and have actually parked our brand new 2007 junk truck inside the Harford Mall in Bel Air! If you ever see us out and about, please say hi! And more importantly, if you ever need junk removed, please call 1-800-GOT-JUNK?
I have been in this junk hauling business for two years and am often asked, "What do you do with the junk?". My enthusiastic answer is that we attempt to donate and recycle as many of the items as possible! Some of the charities we donate to include Goodwill Industries in Elkton and Bel Air, Maryland and also Dover, Delware. Donations are also provided to US Against Multiple Sclerosis in Harford County, Maryland and also the Hidden Treasures thrift store in Chestertown, Maryland, which is operated by the Kent Center, which provides opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities. We have also been the proud sponsors of the Kent Island Youth and Soccer League for the past two years.
Our office is located northeast of Greenwood, Delaware, which is south of Dover, just off of Hwy 13.
Junk pick-up:
"We couldn't have been more pleased with how the junk removal went. Most importantly, we want to commend this particular trash hauling crew. Their attitude and energy were unbelievable. From the moment they arrived, for over eight hours they never stopped running up and down those steps! My brother and I want to thank you for the superior service. We've already relayed our total satisfaction to other people we know and sincerely hope we know enough people to bring you tons (literally) of new business!"-- Peggy, Centreville, Jan. 2007
"Great! We will be using your junk removal services again soon. Loved the junk hauling team!"-- Christine, Milford, Oct. 2007
"Outstanding! The two trash removers were very good; they did an outstanding job. I'm going to recommend you!"-- Bill, Bel Air, June 2008
"Great job. The junk removal crew got there early and helped remove the stove. They were awesome!"-- Diane, Easton, April 2007
Have you been doing some shopping in the Harford Mall in Bel Air, Maryland and seen our big blue 1-800-GOT-JUNK? junk truck parked inside the mall? Yes, that is us! It is a brand new junk truck we have just purchased and we were lucky enough to be able to park it inside the mall during the months of January and February. Hopefully you were able to meet some of the energetic and professional members of our trash removal team!
Are you a local business person in the community? Hopefully we have had a chance to meet you at one of the recent Chamber of Commerce meetings, or maybe you had the chance to bid on some free junk removal during one of the charity auctions! Since 2006, we have been active members of both the Queen Anne's Chamber, and also the Central Delaware Chamber. Hope to see you there and please introduce yourself!!
Were you able to attend the Harford LIVE! Home & Garden Show last April or September? We had a display booth advertising our junk removal services at both the spring and fall shows. Hopefully, you had a chance to meet us and pick up some free "junk" goodies such as mints, toy junk trucks, pens, and note pads!
