Along with Mark Artuso, General Manager of our trash pick-up business, we take care of removing junk throughout Ventura, Camarillo, Westlake Village, Oxnard, Lake Sherwood, Oak View, and Point Mugu.
We work with charities throughout the county, including ARC, Goodwill, ReStore (a ""Habitat for Humanity"" store), ACTION (Area Christians Taking Initiative On Needs), and the RAIN Project Transitional Living Center. We enjoy helping these community-assistance organizations find quality previously-owned goods. All e-waste is recycled through Electronic Recyclers, based in Fresno, California, and metal material is salvaged through Standard Industries, headquartered in Saticoy, California.
The best part of owning our junk removal business in the Ventura area is the opportunity of entrepreneurship and independence combined with the ability to be a good corporate citizen contributing to recycling and re-use. We are a member of the Camarillo and Oxnard Chambers of Commerce, and we're slated for membership in the Ventura Chamber of Commerce.
Our most memorable junk removal moment happens to be one of our largest jobs to date - a complete clean-up of a 1/4 acre property that took approximately 28 truckloads. The neighbors loved that we cleaned up their neighborhood!
Our office is located at 425 Constitution Ave, Suite D, Camarillo CA 93012 is located in south-central Camarillo, adjacent to the new "Village By The Park" housing complex. Constitution Avenue parallels the Lewis Road overpass. Pleasant Valley Road is the connecting street. Farmer's Barn Junk
When a landlord needed help, 1-800-GOT-JUNK? removed the entire contents of a 5000-square-foot country barn. Twenty-one trunkloads later, the entire premises was tidy and clean. The barn owner couldn't believe the job our Santa Cruz Central junk haulers had done!
Helping out with Junk
An elderly couple lost all their household belongings, and Santa Cruz Central's 1-800-GOT-JUNK? was called to remove additional damaged items. After a partial re-construction of their home, 1-800-GOT-JUNK? furnished the entire home with recycled items.
Last year our Monterey 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise provided a carport full of items from our trucks to the annual Alzheimer's Association Fund Raiser, and we have also donated the local church with a number of items for their re-sale store.
Our Santa Barbara 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise donated a a full truckload junk removal to the Santa Barbara School District's Monroe Elementary School PTA Spring Festival and Silent Auction to support the school with necessary funding in the classroom.
Our Santa Maria 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise helps support the non-profit organization, Big Brothers/Big Sisters of San Luis Obispo County. We hold Electronic Waste Collection Days and donate our 1-800-GOT-JUNK? trucks and manpower with a portion of the proceeds from the recycling going directly to Big Brothers/Big Sisters to fund their many programs.

You might recognize Monterey franchise owner Kim Roberts from www.MontereyBayJobs.com. He was asked to do an advertisement for this local online employment company because they were impressed with 1-800-GOT-JUNK?. The advertisement featured Kim in our junk hauling uniform with one of our trucks. People often stop him in the community to ask if he is "that guy"!
Earth Day E-Waste Event
We held a free electronics and e-waste drive on Earth Day. This event allowed locals to drop off old electronics knowing they’ll be recycled or refurbished, diverting thousands of pounds of plastic, lead, and other toxins from our landfills.
Holiday Cheer and Local Events
Our Santa Barbara 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise enjoys participating in local events. During the holidays we love decorating ourselves and our trucks and rolling through the Santa Barbara Milpas Street Parade, the Carpinteria Holiday Spirit Parade, and the Carpinteria Independence Day Parade. We even raffled off a bike during one, and had the pleasure of presenting it to the enthusiastic boy who won.
Our Santa Maria franchise participated in The Family Care Network's 5th Annual Miracle Miles for Kids 10K walk/run from Morro Bay Rock to Cayucos Pier. There were over 1,800 participants and 200 volunteers. 1-800-GOT-JUNK? supplied the trucks to haul the materials to hold the event. It was another miraculous year for Miracle Miles for Kids—a day of astonishing feats for the Family Care Network and the children and families we serve! At this year’s event, over 1,800 race participants and over 200 volunteers lent their time and energy on race day! Combined, the number of community members who joined the agency on race day met the agency’s goal of attracting over 2,000 people to the event! This means that at the event, there was a community member present to represent every foster and high-needs child, youth or family served by the Family Care Network last year—what a sight to see!
